This used to be my absolute favorite coffee shop. The ambience is fantastic..
I've been coming here for years, but something changed…
The crema on the coffee is no more 🥲
The coffee doesn't taste the same, it's quite bitter now..
The Sfoufs don't taste the same…
will probably take a break from going & maybe try again in the future to see how things evolve..
My favorite coffeeshop in Montreal so far. The interior is relaxing & bright, I love to go & write there.
I appreciate having me on your coffee shop. However :
- Double espresso tastes terrible. I had one sip.
- The place requires more ventilation.
- You feel the staff push themselves to smile.
A bright & cozy space where you instantly feel at home. The long table by the window is perfect for solo visitors or studying, while the large communal tables in the center are great for families. There's even a dedicated kids' area, making it even more inviting. Plus, every coffee comes with a mini Sfouf cake-a sweet nod to the café's name. A perfect spot for a relaxing break or a productive work session. 💛🌞
Heads up: Closed on Monday!
My favourite local coffee shop. The owner is absolutely wonderful & her spirit seems to trickle down to her staff. The food is all made in house & the recipes have been perfected. Their coffee is from a local roaster & is absolutely delicious. The cafe is nice & bright in the day, & feels like a cozy living-room. I've met some people there that have become life-long pals. Go, you won't regret it. Oh, please try their Mediterranean (not Canadian!) style brunch on the weekends after 11:30am. Delicious, healthy, having you come back for it again.
Lovely cafe! A beautiful place to have a coffee & even study. Wide variety of dishes & pastries. Would be back!
I have been to this cute café a couple of times, it's really nice & the ambiance is chill, allowing me to be relaxed, but if I need to concentrate, it's also a good spot, not too noisy. They always offer a sfouf (the little cake) with the coffee that I take, this time I took an espresso & it's quite good. The decor here is pretty & there are plenty of plants, I love seeing these lovely plants. Recommended! PS: you can also eat a simple lunch here & Wifi is available
Went today for a coffee while in Montreal. I checked the reviews & it seemed ok. I don't walk with cash but only card & they don't accept credit nor visa or Mastercard, which seems odd to be. In any way, this is a very particular experience but to be fair staff & the place seemed nice. Very sad didn't have a chance to try it.
Hands down one of the best spots in Montreal to get some work done, have an amazing cup of coffee, all while enjoying a super eclectic ambiance! 10 out of 10!
While sfouf is a super cute coffee shop, I feel very ripped off when it comes to the food. This toast with a "side salad" & a teaspoon of labneh cost me $16.... That's insane So sad :(
Really nice interior & a very chill place to study. Anything other than coffee like sweets or meals are quite pricey, but the cake is good.
A very cute coffee shop to chill in or study/work. The sfouf cake was good & they have some gluten free options too.
I don't get the vibe of this place. The first time, I ordered a chai tea latte & a cookie. They offered a small homemade dessert, which was okay but didn't taste incredible to me. The chai tea latte wasn't great-I can't tell if it was the type of milk, but the overall taste wasn't to my liking. I drink a lot of chai tea lattes. Went for a second time hoping for a better experience. Asked for a filtered coffee, but they didn't have it, or the machine was off-I end up not understanding it. I settled for an americano with milk. Again, it didn't taste good, & the paper cups were flimsy; they leaked in my car's cup holder, creating a mess. The staff member was playing with her phone while taking my order. I honestly don't get it. While the ambiance & decor seem nice, I believe people go for the hipster vibe & free internet mainly.
