I stopped visiting this establishment more than a month ago when I received a cold coffee & service. However, I decided to give it a second try today & was not disappointed. The lady that served me this time was kind enough to listen to my complain & assured me they do not serve cold coffees. My coffee along with the vegan Banana muffin she recommended were great! My coffee was nice & hot, & muffin delicious! I noticed the care & time she took to prepare my coffee & was extremely grateful. Thank you!
Coffee good, croissant dry. Music distracting & bad. Confused decor. Lots of man buns if that floats your boat. They asked us to move from the only table with outlets so they could do an espresso making demonstration. Nobody attended. People constantly on zoom calls rubbed me the wrong way
Really hip cafe. It could almost be a club or speakeasy. For sure the best design of the St Henri coffee chains in town. Great for work as well.
I was invited to a latte art class at Café Saint-Henri-& let me tell you, it was the perfect blend of cozy vibes & cool coffee culture.
The space? Absolutely gorgeous. Spacious & minimalist, with plenty of natural light, sleek stone surfaces, & just enough greenery to keep things feeling fresh. It's the kind of café where you can truly settle in-whether you're solo-working, catching up with a friend, or (like me) trying your hand at some latte art.
For the class, we used their Holy Cow Guatemalan espresso blend-& wow. Smooth & complex, with notes of caramel, black cherry, & cocoa that linger beautifully. Honestly? I'd drink it straight-no milk needed.
I'm definitely heading back soon to explore the rest of their menu.
I spotlight my favorite local gems on TikTok @foxy.appetite & IG @foxyappetite-& this one made the list.
Café Saint-Henri in Villeray is a solid choice for good coffee. The atmosphere is pleasant, making it a nice place to relax or get some work done. Friendly staff. What really stands out is their selection of coffee beans. I highly recommend buying a bag & grinding them at home , it's definitely worth it for a consistently excellent cup of coffee ☕
Very good coffee here! I love their "half cookie half browny" cookie!
Love this place, great ambiance & relaxed vibe. The drip coffee is always amazing. Wishing they would put cold brew on the menu, as I find the flash brew a bit watery.
Nice coffee shop but damn they're blasting the AC way too strong I'm freezing
Excellent food & atmosphere. But. I asked the cashier to hold my coffee for 2 minutes while i got to the bathroom with my 9 months old (it wasn't really busy), & she refused..... Literally 2 min... Should not have given tips...
I'm excited to see what kind of plants they will grow with all the grow light shelf's 🌱! This was an eclectic place to spend a couple hours, communing with friends over coffee & some light pastries . Although one of the two bathrooms were closed, we made it work. It was slightly less friendly for kids. All our kids were full of energy though & were kind of running around so we had to tame & contain them a little!
Great quaint place to have a coffee. Fresh pastries available & wide selection of milk. Coffee (flat white) was not ad bitter on the coffee side indicating they properly clean & calibrate their machines. Only comment would be to offer to reheat pastries like the cheese & ham Croissant
Great spot for coffee & a little pastry. I would say its a hidden gem, but the place always seems to have a healthy presence of locals getting their coffee there.
