I tried their latte & espresso. Both were quite good (beans from Escape if you're wondering). I also had a great conversation with the barista Melodie, mostly about coffee. She was so lovely & patient enough with my broken French. I'd love to come again, in the summer.
small spot but delicious coffee/matcha, would come again! a bit on the pricey side but the service was awesome & sweet
Most expensive decaf Latte in MONTREAL. Paid $8.64 for a latte that was quite frankly average & was half full with foam. Server did it all without a small. Was charged extra 60 cents for decaf & an Extra $1 because I asked for a large size. Which just meant more foam (not milk) in my cup. It was supposed to be a latte not a cappuccino. We desperately need competition in TMR. It unfortunate because if their prices we significantly more reasonable i'd be there every day...instead I usually walk bye & grab a coffee once i get downtown (via the rem) The location is very small but quaint . When it first opened I was thrilled - now I the ocassion experience just leaves me feel cheated. LAST TIME.
Super cute little café. Matcha & Chai latte tasted good. I enjoy exploring local coffee shops.
Was out for a walk with my wife & decided to stop for a coffee. Service was dry & without any smile or engagement. Ordered 2 Americanos & these were by far the worst coffees we had ever had & for those steep prices, I would expect better. Had to have mine remade & it was marginally better. Coffee was also super bitter & not the taste profile I like. Location is quaint & has character. Sadly, service & coffee were not up to par.
I go to this cafe at least one day a week. I think the quality of coffees are vey good & the staff are nice & politie but the items are for sure overpriced.
My main critic is that the place is small & hot & most of the time is crowded, you see people in line. One barista in rush hours does not make sense. The owner should put two people at least in weekends or rush hours!
I go to this cafe every single day cause I love the coffee but the service is so slow & it takes forever to get a latte.
Love the coffee there. & it became so popular that there's always a line-up & unfortunately service is super slow due to only 1 employee working. I suggest staffing up to keep up with the demand :)
Also, it's too bad that the food is no good.
C'est sympa d'avoir un café à Ville Mont-Royal, mais c'est un third-wave coffee, j'aurais préféré un café authentique
Great first visit - solid coffee & unique matcha biscuit. Will be back for sure!
The coffee is nice. Everything was good except the attitude of the barista.
Nice little coffee spot. The coffee is delicious, always enjoy my cappuccinos. Nice treats as well
I really like the look of this place, the interior is beautiful & the use of green is right up my alley. The service was good as well. The cookies were also nice, had the red velvet one & it was soft & full of chocolate. The only real let down is the coffee, I had a latte & the coffee had a weird aftertaste & wasn't really enjoyable. That's why I'm giving it a lower review because the coffee is really the cornerstone of any coffee shop, despite the good service, cookies & the beautiful design.
