Phenomenal coffee shop! Staff is very friendly, coffee is outstanding, & the ambiance is quiet & welcoming. The owner even made me a custom Pistachio/Biscoff latte which was great, which, in my humble opinion should be added to the menu! :P
Simple yet exceptional service! This is easily one of the best coffee shops in the Villeray neighborhood. I feel lucky to work nearby-it has truly elevated my daily coffee breaks & made them something I look forward to. The quality of their coffee is consistently excellent, & you can tell they take pride in every cup they serve.
Beyond coffee, they also offer a thoughtful selection of food & even alcohol, making it a versatile spot whether you're stopping by in the morning or winding down later in the day. The decor is refined & tasteful, creating a space that feels both classy & relaxed. The atmosphere is warm, comfortable, & genuinely welcoming-perfect for a quick visit or a longer stay. Highly recommended!

What an amazing experience! I tried Café Mondelo for the first time, & it definitely exceeded my expectations!
The place is spotless, modern, & beautifully designed. Whether you choose to sit inside or on the terrace, the atmosphere is relaxing & inviting. The outdoor seating is especially nice, & the interior has a very clean, elegant, & cozy vibe.
The staff were very welcoming, friendly, & efficient. Service was fast without ever feeling rushed.
I had a pizza & a coffee, & both were excellent. The pizza was delicious from the first bite to the last REALLY! The crust was perfectly baked, the ingredients tasted fresh & high quality, & you can genuinely tell it's made with lots of love & passion.😋
The coffee was just as impressive: rich, smooth, & perfectly prepared.
The prices are very fair for the quality of the food, the service, & the overall experience.
It's not easy to find a place that gets everything right, but Café Mondelo really does. I'll definitely be coming back, & I highly recommend it! 👏☕
Cannot say enough positives things about this place - what a gem! We come here weekly for a fabulous coffee, amazing (truly outstanding) food, an impeccable, relaxed, ambiance with the most amazing music & wonderful service from Jimmy & Steve. Mondello has become my happy place.
This is definitely the'go to' place in Villeray. The sandwiches & salads are absolutely delicious. Fresh, quality ingredients. They also have excellent coffee. Atmosphere is beautiful & the service is incredibly friendly.
The place is so welcoming & the quality of everything is outstanding, from the coffee (pistachio latte is addictive) to their sandwiches & pizza, everything is done so well. Also have to commend them on the place being super clean - the tables, floor & bathrooms have always been spotless when I've been in there. (Cleanliness is kind of important in food & beverage industry, right?) Well done Jimmy & the team, I'll be there more & more often.
