Love that this place has a few vegan options. (To my great surprise, the cafe also doubles as a boutique that carries a plethora of vegan Montreal-based goods - notably from BKIND, Cocooning Love, Savonnerie le chat noir nu, DUNORD & Mimi & August.) When I called to ask about their plant-based selection, the owner, Marie-Jeanne, kindly informed me that their soup of the day was vegan & that she could season their crunch salad with nutritional yeast for me as an alternative to cheese. When she served me my meal, she told me that she (very thoughtfully) added pumpkin seeds on my salad to offer me extra protein, & that she will proudly start to offer vegan chili with tofu soon (perhaps already on the menu?). Moreover, she happily expressed of her own volition that she would invite my suggestions of vegan options to integrate into her menu, which was music to my ears. Thank you, Café MJ & Cie, for your openness in paving a plant-powered future that is reverent to our fellow earthlings!
The place looks cute & has many seats. We tried the smoothie bowl & the lemonade with strawberry syrup. The lemonade was amazing, but the smoothie bowl was a bit too liquid, it still tasted good though!
Super belle entreprise Québecoise! La nourriture était délicieuse, l'endroit très propre, le personnel accueillant & chaleureux 😄 Puis la terrasse offre une belle vue sur le bassin!
J'ai été épatée par le soucis au détail; produits locaux en vente sur place, mini friperie, jeux, petites doudou disponibles si ont a envie d'être cozy. J'ai particulièrement appréciée toutes les petites choses « environnement friendly ». Seul détails; préparez vous à chercher un stationnement. Beaucoup de commerce dans le secteurs & peu d'espace. Ce stationner au Maxi est la meilleure option 😉
