Found this gem online, drove past it, & I decided to try. I'm so glad I did! I had the breakfast biscuit & chai latte - great choices! The biscuit was tasty, moist, & filling; the chai latte was also delish, balanced, & you can honestly taste the chai in it! Music was ambiant which helped with my focus to work yet relax too! The place is cozy & customer service is top notch! Parking wasn't that bad because I came earlier in the day. Will be back for sure. Highly, highly recommended!View more

My absolute favorite cafe in Mile End & wonderful addition to the neighborhood. Each coffee is poured to perfection by the charismatic owner who clearly cares about his customers & craft. From the clean & minimalist esthetic with local artwork adorning the walls, to the overall warm & inviting atmosphere, it's no surprise that Cafe Mavi has become a regular stomping ground for the eclectic mix of locals whom may often be found out front sharing laughs, chatting politics or just enjoying the good vibes. 😎View more
Newly-opened cafe that somehow feels like it has always been there. Mavi is one of my favorite places to grab a coffee. The owner is incredibly friendly & clearly cares about his craft - evidenced by the taste of the coffee & the way he remembers orders for his regulars. I also really love the interior of the place - minimalist without being cold, stylish without relying on trends, & sleek & elegant without being pretentious. Mavi is a perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee or a few whether you are by yourself, with a friend, there to relax, or there to get some work done.View more
