Great spot but YOU CANT WORK WITH LAPTOP THE MORNING! Which I find no necessarily bad in a super crowded place but the cafe was half empty I wasn't bothering anyone worst to worst the owner (who is really kind) could have told me ok you can work but only for 2 hours. Be flexible, I spent 28$ for my breakfast.

Wonderful café! We stayed a few nights at Hyatt Place, Downtown Montreal & noticed this place was a close walk. We had a stroller & a 10 month at the time & they were very friendly & accommodating. Good coffee, great crêpes! We had the Nutella Strawberry & the Ham, Swiss & Asparagus options & we were very happy!
A hidden gem! Their cappuccino was out of this world. I ordered the Cajun steak panini & my partner had the egg & cheese croissant. They were so yummy that we ordered 2 more for the ride home! The staff were friendly & service was quick.

C'est rare de trouver un service aussi agréable. Le gérant & les employés étaient gentils & aux petits soins avec nous. C'était très bon & pas si cher. Je recommande les yeux fermés.
Service was nice & friendly. Food however was very very mid. Coffee was bland. The ham & sausage were cheap quality. University students seem to be the main clientele.
Café Lulu truly exceeded our expectations & became one of the highlights of our trip to Montreal. From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly warm & welcoming, creating a friendly & relaxed vibe that made us feel right at home. They were attentive without being intrusive, & you could tell they genuinely care about their guests having a great experience.
The food was absolutely fantastic - beautifully presented & even better tasting. Every dish we ordered was fresh, well-prepared, & full of flavor. I personally couldn't get enough of the Nutella-Fraises Crêpes - they were rich, indulgent, & perfectly balanced with the fresh strawberries. Definitely a must-try if you have a sweet tooth like me!

They were very accomodating & spoke english with us when we couldn't speak french. Also my friend had a birthday & they were so happy for us. Super patient staff & polite!
Five stars because the food is tasty, well priced for what you get, & the service friendly. We ordered black tea (which is such a simple drink to prepare) so I can't assess the drinks.
