Review Summary

Café Lézard is described as a calm, cozy cafe bistro with a varied menu featuring tartiflette, beef tartare, gravlax, guedille, onion soup gratinée, and other tasty options, alongside good coffee and a thoughtful wine list. Atmosphere and consistent quality over the years are repeatedly praised, and memories of visits arranged by a teacher add a personal touch. Service is generally solid and friendly, though one visit stands out for an unpleasant interaction with a waiter about tipping, which led to a decision not to return. Some dishes are described as uneven, such as a beef tartare that lacked flavor and a tart that seemed reheated, yet many other items are highlighted for flavor and presentation. Overall, the cafe is seen as a worthwhile spot for simple lunches and casual hangs, offering a cozy vibe, good value, and a menu that keeps bringing guests back.
