I love Café Jardin. It's a cozy spot to sit, chat, eat & drink surrounded by plants & happy people. The staff is always very welcoming. It's not too loud, so you can hear yourself talk.

J'ai hâte d'y retourner pour essayer un repas & y prendre mon temps pour lire ou jouer à un jeu de société tout simplement!

J'ai pris le temps d'y relaxer un peu dans une très belle ambiance chaleureuse & détendue!
Personnel & propriétaire toujours aussi souriant, accueillant & prêts à vérifier pour mes allergies.
Je me suis gâtée, j'ai acheté une tarte aux pacanes vegan complète! Arrivée à la maison, je l'ai enveloppé pointe par pointe pour la mettre à congeler. Ainsi, quand une petite fringale me prendra, je serai prête! 😁 J'ai aussi acheté les délicieux croissants vegan pas encore cuits. Je pourrai donc les manger frais sortis de mon four!
On trouve des solutions quand on habite trop loin pour y aller régulièrement!

One of the only local & responsible cafes I have seen in Verdun. Zero waste initiatives & offers plenty of vegan options. Wish more cafes were operating like this!

Le personnel est super accueillant, l'ambiance chaleureuse & la qualité des boissons comme de la nourriture est impeccable. Mention spéciale pour le vaste choix d'options véganes (laits végétaux, repas salés, pâtisseries 🤩).
Un endroit où on a envie de revenir encore & encore. Je recommande à 100%! 💚

A gem of a cafe & my favorite on the island. I've been to many.
The owner is very welcoming, kind, & involved, he really cares about this cafe & you can tell it's his passion.
Food & pastries are incredible & you would never believe that many of them are vegan. Delicious coffee & they offer every type of milk, from cow milk to macadamia.
The atmosphere is really cozy but fun, there's board games & books for the customers to use so it's impossible to get bored. They've also got their alcohol license which makes it the perfect place for a drinks & board game night between friends.
The service is great & the baristas are absolutely amazing, they're always so friendly & helpful & they seem to stick around for a while. I have never received bad service here & I've been coming regularly for a year now.
There's also little play area where your kids can play.
I have no notes, it's a must try for newcomers to Verdun & a go-to for locals :)
J'aime trop!! Le café a déménagé un peu plus loin, mais le menu reste top! C'est un peu plus cher (17$ notre assiette), mais les sandwiches viennent maintenant avec un side (salade ou patate, les deux sont bons mais la salade est délicieuse!) & sont plus généreux. Toujours aussi bon & végane. On va continuer à faire le détour pour nos brunchs :)
Ils nous ont offert un excellent service de traiteur avec des mocktails. Je recommande fortement ! Ils avaient également préparé plusieurs options végétariennes & véganes. C'était très diversifié - ça vaut définitivement le détour.

Meilleure place de verdun pour manger vegan avec café & viennoiseries vegan. La déco est superbe belle Ave toutes ces plantes. La musique super sympa. Beaucoup d'espace avec le bas. & le personnel est adorable & souriant.
I absolutely ADORE this cafe! A very much needed vegan restaurant in verdun. The staff is always so welcoming & kind & the food is always amazing! The only negatives for me is that I wish I could go there every single day but prices are a tad bit high for me but the quality is there. Also, I remember them only having vegan options & now they offer eggs & dairy which is a bit of a downer for me but I'm glad that they can reach more customers this way maybe ? Over all, all these reviews about going next door instead are insane. I could not recommend Café Jardin enough! 🩷🌷
