They have the best Biscotti & latte in Montreal! A piece of Sicily's love is in their restaurant! It feels like home & family! I also loved the Zeppole! The Du Parc (Chabanel) Caffè is not an accessible location, about 7 stairs (located downstairs) but tables outside so still possible to eat & enjoy on a nice day, & always a quick service. The location downtown is (power) wheelchair accessible & the Pizza Parlour as well.
I put a curse on all of those who rated this place less than 5 stars. It's the best. They're the best. That's it that's all.
Simply amazing Italian cafe in the heart of MTL's garment district. They've been around longer than I've been alive. Serving some of the tastiest food, the best coffee & iced tea, all with prompt & curteous service. You get a total NYC deli / cafe vibe here at lunch; whether you're quickly dipping in to grab a sandwich between meetings or lounging around playing pool / chit chatting on the outside terrace. This is the hub of the "schmata" life on Chabanel. If you're in the garment trade, you know Gentile, & you love'em. A veritable institution.
Went there with my kids for lunch. The staff was so friendly & super accommodating. Great sandwiches! Will be back :)
J'ai commandé un sandwich poulet parmesan de ce restaurant & je trouve que le goût était ordinaire...De plus, le sandwich était pas mal petit pour le prix...
My first time in Canada & I am so thankful we made a pit stop at this quaint eatery! The staff were extremely kind & hospitable & went the extra mile to make our experience lovely. The food was to die for, the atmosphere is fun, but the staff made this one of our favorite lunches of all time. We will definitely be back if we visit Montreal in the future!
