I had an amazing 10/10 experience at Café Gentile! The place is incredibly cozy, & the service was top-notch, the waiter gave me some fantastic suggestions that really blew me away. Everything I tried was delicious, from the STK wrap & Linguini to the must-try Zeppoli. I finished it all off with a perfect cappuccino. If you're looking for a delicious meal in a great setting, I highly encourage everyone to try the food here, it's amazing!

L'endroit est incroyablement chaleureux & le service était impeccable, le serveur m'a fait d'excellentes suggestions qui m'ont vraiment impressionné. Tout ce que j'ai goûté était délicieux, du wrap STK & des linguines jusqu'au zeppole, qu'il faut absolument essayer. J'ai terminé le tout avec un cappuccino parfait. Si vous cherchez un délicieux repas dans un cadre agréable, j'encourage tout le monde à venir ici, la nourriture est incroyable !

Une institution à Montréal pour les meilleurs cafés italiens, les viennoiseries sont aussi délicieuses & la terrasse est ensoleillée, de quoi bien commencer la journée, comme en Italie !

I love coming to this café - the atmosphere is warm, the service is always kind, & there's something special about the energy here.
The staff is respectful & welcoming, & you can tell it's a family-run place with heart.
It's become one of my favorite little stops lately - not just for the coffee. 😊

I stopped in for a sandwich to go. The fried chicken cutlet was moist. The toppings were good especially the spicy sauce. It makes it messy to eat. I got my food quick. The price of the food seems reasonable. They over charge for the water. They probably get busy at lunch, I beat the rush. Old school Italian cafe with sanguich.

We enjoyed the most delicious, fun, & memorable evening at Cafe Gentile while visiting our dear friends in Montreal. The atmosphere is beautiful, warm & welcoming, the service was impeccable, & our multi course dinner was incredible. Would highly recommend & hope to return before long. Simply amazing Italian cafe in the heart of MTL's garment district. They've been around longer than I've been alive. Serving some of the tastiest food, the best coffee & iced tea, all with prompt & curteous service. You get a total NYC deli / cafe vibe here at lunch; whether you're quickly dipping in to grab a sandwich between meetings or lounging around playing pool / chit chatting on the outside terrace. This is the hub of the "schmata" life on Chabanel. If you're in the garment trade, you know Gentile, & you love'em. A veritable institution.
