Clarification Needed on Temperature & Stay Duration Policy

I've been a regular customer at Café Depot, often visiting multiple times a week, but I recently had an experience that caught me off guard. During one of my visits, I asked the waiter about the cold temperature inside the café, & I was told it's the practice to make the environment colder for customers who stay longer than an hour, in an effort to discourage prolonged stays.

Additionally, when I raised the concern, the waiters suggested I might be unwell, with unprofessional behavior & attitude,which I found dismissive

This was the first time I'd ever heard of such a policy, & it left me surprised. I appreciate the ambiance of Café Depot & typically enjoy my visits, so I'd like to understand if this is indeed an official policy of the café. It would be great to have clarity on this matter.
