Love this place! The gnocchi I had was just perfect 👌. Great coffee, beautiful interior & kind staffs! Definitely coming back & it's a place where I'd love to bring a guest visiting in MTL. 10/10

Si vous êtes à la place des Arts, je vous conseille ce café qui est aussi un restaurant pour votre brunch. J'ai goûté au burger aux oeufs & c'était excellent. Je vous conseille d'enlever la mayonnaise épicée par des avocats, cela en fait un repas complet & nourrissant. Ce restaurant offre un menu aux saveurs françaises comme un vol au vent ou du boeuf bourguignon. Je vous conseille de faire une réservation car de nombreux étudiants mobilisent le lieu. Si vous n'aimez pas le poivre, mentionnez-le car le chef poivre bien.
Heureux de notre choix pour un souper en toute simplicité dans un décor original. J'ai adoré le vol-au-vent avec sauce au poulet & mon conjoint le boeuf bourguignon. Notre service Sarah, très sympa & efficace. Merci!
The food was quite good, but not filling enough for the price we paid… The iced latte was great, but the chai latte lacked some flavour.
The decoration is lovely, I really liked the paper lamps & plants! However, it seems like they share a space with other some kind of studio, making it loud. We heard very loud noise & applause throughout our brunch.
The low point would have to be service, unfortunately. While our initial server was very polite, everyone was VERY slow. It took us forever to get a waiter to come get our order, despite the place not being that full. The food arrived with zero coordination, with a significant amount of time between the arrival of my dish & my friend's.
Cute, cozy, very fancy looking but not ideal for studying in my opinion because the light inside is too dim & the place is smaller than it looks like in pictures online
Absolutely make a point of coming here if you're close by. Me & my friend were just looking for cafes nearby & cafe constance came up. Did not at all expect to walk into the cutest & most aesthetically pleasing cafe I've ever seen. Did not expect to be completely charmed by our lovely server Aoife. Did not expect our food, dessert & drinks to be so delicious & so reasonably priced. Truly such a lovely environment with excellent staff. Will absolutely be coming back!

oh wow! the two stars of this show are definitely the staff (incredible people) & the ambience. the mid-century furniture & decor are captivating & romantic! the coffee is fantastic, as well. i had to order the flat white twice because it was addictive! the food, honestly, is just okay! i ordered the grilled cheese sandwich & it didn't quite hit the spot BUT my date ordered the pistachio tartlet & it was delightful!
side note: they allow laptops! which is always a plus in my book! def recommend!

Nous avons mangé à deux reprises dans ce café - restaurant & nous y retournerons encore. Difficile de trouver par hasard une adresse de qualité à Montréal, mais ici, vous serez servis.
Les gnocchis & le boeuf bourguignon était excellents. Autant dans la réalisation de la recette que dans le choix des ingrédients. Idem pour les pâtisseries. Le dôme chocolat & la tarte pistache étaient un délice.
Le tout pour un prix plus qu'abordable, dans une ambiance calme & cosy, avec un service de qualité & attentionné.

The atmosphere was good but have go admit that some of the tables were too close together, leaving little room for intimate conversations. Staff was absolutely wonderful, perhaps short-staffed though since orders sometimes would take a while to come.
Very good house-made pastries! I was a little disappointed in my mocha. It was a bit blend, lacking depth in its taste.
The place itself is very nice! Would recommend if you haven't gone but wouldn'y go again.
