Cutest little spot at a great location. Super cute place to grab a brunch & either sit in or takeout. I find the vibe kinda loud/busy/slightly chaotic but in the best way - it really does make you feel like you're cozy at your teta's on a sunday. The manouche is delicious, one of the best in Montreal for sure! & the service is great, everyone is super kind. A must try on the plateau
One of my favorite places to eat in the city. The mana'eesh are freshly made in their traditional oven. Love the lahem bi ajin, the seasoning on the meat is perfect (one of the best I've had & comparable to Lebanon). The classic zaatar is great with vegetable toppings. Love their lattes with a middle eastern twist (halva, rose). Perfect light healthy breakfast to start the day
Sinon top notch. Bonne journée.
I took a manoushé for takeout, so I can't say about dine in experience. However, I have eaten an unspeakable amount of manoushé in Montreal, & I can confirm this to be a top choice. The labneh is simply incredible, you'll want to bathe in it. If you're lucky, get their halva brownie & go straight to heaven. Trust.
i would be lying if i said that everytime i came here, it wasn't because replika was full. although she has historically been a backup plan, café chez téta has been there for me through thick & thin
My husband & I decided to give "Chez Teta" a try today for the first time, & we were not disappointed! Despite the packed restaurant, we only had to wait 15-20 minutes for a table. While the menu leans towards the pricier side, the quality of the food more than made up for it. Every dish was incredibly fresh & delicious, & we savored every bite. The beet salad was outstanding, & my husband thoroughly enjoyed the fattouche. We also ordered taboulé for takeout, & the pizza, made with fresh dough & generously portioned, exceeded our expectations. Contrary to negative comments we've seen, the service was exceptionally friendly. Overall, we loved our experience at Chez Teta & can't wait to return. Thank you for a wonderful meal!
Loving the fresh bread from the brick oven! It was a first Libanese experience for me so unsure how to compare it.... But it was delicious! Beet salad & chicken wrap were amazing!
