Manouchehs:
- Half cheese half zaatar with cucumber tomato mint: 10/10
- Kafta cheese aïoli tomatoe: 10/10
- Teta's Falafel: 8/10
- Teta's Halloumi: 7/10 (the pesto is a bit sour for my taste & not pesto-y enough)
- Teta's Kafta: 6/10
The combo (Teta's platter) makes it way too much food for one person imo. Better to share it between 2 people. The salad dressing is a bit sour so I ask for it on the side.
Lattes:
- Halva latte: 100/10 literally best latte I've ever had in my life
- Cardamon latte: 8/10
I am actually disappointed seeing the reviews before going to that place.
1: It is not kids friendly. A kids friendly place would provide some crayons & coloring books for kids..
2. Toilet is mixed (men & women) & no baby changing station.
3. Food is tasteless. Being a mystery shopper myself,I tried those: teta kafta, teta falafel, chicken special, man'ouche mixed & 5 cheese man'ouche ( I doubt there are even 2). They don't taste good.
4. Service is great, the waitress was super friendly & helpful
5. Reservations are not allowed. First come, first serve basis.
6. Atmosphere: none.
Conclusion: never again..

Such a peaceful & welcoming place , perfectly balanced manouché with cheese & zaatar. The rose latte & the pistachio-rose cake were the sweetest finishing touch. Chez Téta truly transports you with its flavors. I'll absolutely be returning!
🙏
This place gets super busy & honestly after trying it I can see why. Chez Teta features a menu that is just the right size with some truly quality items of Lebanese cuisine. I was so thrilled to finally get a seat here that I overdid it & ordered two manouches for myself - but no regret as they were both amazing. I got the falafel & chicken+cheese, with preference to the second. The bread used is so fresh & soft & all the toppings are of high quality as well. Service was a bit scrambled at times, the hostess initially missed me while I was waiting but fortunately the bossman pointed me out for her to serve. There was also some miscommunication when I paid where I was left awkwardly waiting for my change for some time. But otherwise all the interactions were warm, they are trying their best with the high demand for sure. The interior is nicely decorated, the atmosphere holds despite the bustling crowds.
We were craving a good Lebanese breakfast, & Café Chez Téta did not disappoint us! We had the lahm baajin, cheese kafta, & the egg with cheese man'oushe - all fresh, flavorful, & perfectly satisfying. The staff were incredibly friendly & helpful, which made the experience even better. It's definitely a spot we'll come back to!
One of the best places to get Manoshas (Lebanese Pizza) The Good: - The manousha dough was perfect. Had a nice coconuty flavor with a light texture & a nice chew to it - The saltiness of the 4 cheese manousha was just right - Lahm bajoune (Minced meat pizza) is absolutely recommended
I took the Rose & Pistache cake & it was sooooo amazing!!! I didn't want to finish it! I also had the chicken & cheese Manoucheh & it's sooooo good too!
This restaurant was an absolute highlight of our trip! The staff were wonderful (chatted with the owner & she was lovely!), food was incredible, & atmosphere very lively but relaxing. Everything tasted so fresh & homemade... such delicious flavours. We had the fattouche, half cheese/half za'atar & falafel manoucheh, as well as a perfect cardamom latté!
We ordered a half cheese & half zaatar manoucheh with added cucumbers & a rose & pistachio cake for takeout. The freshly baked flatbread was terrific, & the manoucheh was delicious. We also loved the rose & pistachio cake. If you plan to dine in, there's only one toilet for the whole restaurant. You order the food inside & wait for the food order outside. We highly recommend this place.
So glad we came here! Loved the half cheese/half falafel with tomatoes & falafel but the biggest hit was the hummus!! Also really enjoyed the halva latte - not too sweet - & it went nicely with the halva brownie.

As a Palestinian who lived in almost all the middle eastern countries, I eat & cooked most of the Middle eastern food. I was excited to eat at Chez Téta, I went there with my wife, we looked at their menu(very small) specialized mainly in Manoiches & not presenting even one tiny bet of the Middle Eastern food. It's a small cafe with almost self-service approach. You order at the counter, you pay before you eat, you serve your self with water, but they bring you the food to the table. The place is cute & simple but has no middle eastern touch on it. Food: this was a very big disappointment for me. We ordered 2 manouche with the dip add-on. The dough of the manouche was very thin & rolled like a wrap. It felt like it was a thin crust rolled pizza. The flavor was there especially the cheese & tomato. The meat one was very lemony & lacks spices. The dips that we ordered were: hummus which came very thin (like a bet liquid) with no olive oil on it which will never happen back home. The baba Ghannoij lakes almost everything, especially the olive oil. & the Mohammara was very thin & not spicy as it should be. I am sure that Téta would have love at least to have olive oil on these dips for sure. Additionally, the bread that came with the dips was the same thin dough that they use for the manoiche. It was not the Pita bread that everyone knows & love. I don't know what is the moto or the targeted audience for the place. I am a visitor in Montreal & I was looking forward to eat an authentic Middle eastern food. But I am still looking ! Good luck
Maybe the best Lebanese manoushe place on the island! Our favorite was their cheese & their aioli manoushe Mhammara & fattoush so good too & you can't leave without trying their signature lattes 😍 Parking wasn't hard Except a good 20 mins to be seated on the weekend & their desserts menu can be improved
Their food is INCREDIBLE! So fresh , & service is quite fast ! Their muhammara was so good & I'm generally picky with it. Fatoush salad is so fresh & their manaeesh are amazing ! I had the zaatar & cheese & tried their falafel from a friend - both were perfection . Will definitely come back or delive
Delicious falafel manoucheh as well as the chicken & cheese one. Lovely lunch spot with the cutest decor & vibe. Everyone should try the halva latte at least once!

Everything was a 10/10! We tried the kafta mankousheh & the 1/2 Zaatar 1/2 cheese with veggies & got tea. They were super fresh & tasty & service was good too! Will come back!
Absolutely recommend the chicken/cheese manouché, it's very similar to a shawarma but unique enough to be worth the trip ! Definitly try the rose & pistachio cake 🩷. The only items that dissapointed me a little were the halva & cardamom lattes which were good but both lacked their respective tastes, but this is still definitely a cafe you should come try ❤️!
Another solid neighbourhood spot that I discovered during COVID times - also randomly probably one of the best coffees in the city.
My usual order is Kafta & cheese topped with tomato mint & cucumber, sometimes I’ll do labneh on the side as a dipping sauce & it slaps every time. This used to come as a wrap but I actually prefer it done this way.
