Endroit & concept vraiment sympa, on est déjà venu plusieurs fois. Avec des chats disponibles à l'adoption. Avec des enfants c'est top, mais il y a des règles a respecter, ce qui est normal quand il y a des animaux !! Ce que tout le monde ne fait pas & c'est bien dommage.
If you are a cat lover, you will love this place. I find it hard to get work done here because you want to pet all the cats. Or play with them. I went in awaiting for my car, it was nice & quiet, not too much people. I stay for several hours before I left, I found the early afternoon it start to fill. Food was very good & so was the coffee.
Staff is very helpful, kind & considerate. They have wifi while you are there if you.
The cats had all changed since the first time I was there. I was happy to know they were up for adoption. You can get to know your car before you, adoption them & bring them home
There are lots of souvenirs you can buy to help support the cats that living there at the moment.

About 5 years ago, I adopted my sweet cat Lucid from Refuge Animex through Café Chato, & she's still with me today - healthy, happy, & so deeply loved 💛
Luci was my first rescue. Since then, I've also adopted her two granddaughters - Soussou & her sister lily - who have brought even more joy & love into my life.
All of them are fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, & living in a clean, calm, & loving home.
If you're considering adoption, I highly recommend visiting Café Chato.

So cute, amazing food & THERE'S CATSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!! Their are some gluten-free options, & you can buy cute little trinkets of cats. This place also has an adoption service, which gives cats a new & better home.
LE cat café par excellence à Montréal! Les chats y sont heureux & bien traités par le Refuge Animex, qui gère également leur adoption. Attention à vos muffins & croissants, il y a parfois de petits voleurs à pattes qui s'y intéressent!
Cute café, that's sure to get you your fill of cat love & offer you a nice atmosphere to work or spend times with friends ! It's usually not too noisy, but if you go on "Adoption Day", it may not be the most relaxing space to be in. The cats are from a rescue & are up for adoptions. I've had the latte & the matcha latte which were both amazing ! The coffee beans seem to be a medium roast, so it does offer a more round & full-bodied flavour that isn't too acidic or fruity in notes. Only downside, in my opinion, is that I've received the wrong order in the past & when I went to inquire about it, I was turned back & told that was what I ordered. As someone with food intolerances & dietary restrictions, it makes it a bit more anxiety inducing & concerning.

Decor isnt the cutest but the kitties make up for it !!! sandwich & matcha were good too, the cats are also up for adoption for anyone looking to get a loving furball !!
Le lieu est super cosy, les chats sont adorables & suivre leur processus d'adoption est super émouvant. La nourriture est super bonne, j'y retournerai souvent !
Excellente idée d'adoption pour les chats. Ils sont exposés aux enfants & aux autres chats au lieu d'être en cage. Le café offre un bon menu de breuvages & de petits repas/pâtisserie. Il y a aussi la boutique en thématique des chats avec des artistes locaux & j'apprécie vraiment les marques pages magnétique. Je conseille de venir la semaine que la fin de semaines, les chats sont plus sociaux s'il y a moins de monde.
A super cute cat cafe near Verdun station. It's super busy as the day goes on so best to come early to get a seat. There are several adorable kitties wandering around, climbing, playing, or deep into naps. Interactive toys & perches are provided. The cats were friendly & there is a partnership with an adoption agency so many are looking for homes, which is a lovely cause. The entire menu is vegetarian with several coffee options. The service staff were nice & friendly. We tried the cappuccino, cortado, & chili dish. They were okay. We did see several people on laptops, suggesting it is accepted by the establishment, but few power outlets were around. Definitely a mist visit.

*Expérience vécue un dimanche après-midi* C'est un peu à contrecoeur que j'écris cet avis. Mais vraiment une mauvaise première expérience dans ce café à chat. Le lieu est vraiment bondé, des tables & des chaises partout... Pas vraiment reposant que ce soit pour les animaux comme pour les clients. Les deux serveuses sont donc un peu dépassées & le temps d'attente peut être un peu long que ce soit pour commander ou pour être servi. Ensuite l'établissement n'y est pour rien, mais malgré un avertissement sur les murs à l'entrée... Surveillez vos enfants s'il vous-plaît. Le nombre d'enfants que nous avons vu presque maltraiter les chats était assez aberrant. Entre câlins forcés, tirage de patte, de queue etc... Ces pauvres bêtes à l'adoption méritent mieux.
Je recommande a 100% pour tous ceux qui aiment les chats.
Nous y sommes allés deux fois sur nos 15 jours au Québec, la nourriture y est fraîche & faite maison & le personnel super accueillant.
Les chats viennent de refuge & sont pour la plupart a l'adoption.
