This was my cozy feel good spot to go to especially sunday's & in-between my co-work sessions, next door. It was a VIBE. Real talk... Kaz is such a kind-hearted generous soul who cares ALOT about community. He wants to unite people to share music, & CONNECT. You could tell it's from the heart.

For the time I was in MTL before heading out on my nomadic journey, I've had the pleasure to really get to know him & def going to be one of those homies I'll make time to visit when I'm in the city.

Lastly, super grateful to have been able to drop in on some of the dope DJ scratch sessions he organized to which I got to freestyle rap on one of the open-mics!

So...If you're someone looking for a place to repair your audio equipment & you want someone who's honest, no BS... He's your dude.

If you want a space to grab a coffee at a very affordable price, listen to dope beats, kickback & connect. This is the spot.

I will def be back again when I'm in Montreal next!

In the meantime, Im sending love + support from afar KAZ...

Super cool café/ lounge pour écouter & shopper des disques vinyles, faire réparer sa table tournante, acheter du matos audiophonique vintage, etc. Kaz, le propriétaire est ultra sympathique connaît tous les secrets ( ou presque ! ) en matière d'audiophonie...
L'endroit est tellement cool que les musiciens adorent y faire des jams... & Kaz y permet aussi certains autres événements de musique & culturel...
À voir, & à passer pour prendre un café ou pour participer à un événement ...

Cantinova Cafe is such a nice spot. Kaz the owner is a gracious host & always makes you feel welcome. The coffee is great & the vibe is relaxed & friendly.

It's also super convenient as a dropoff point for Audiophonie who did an amazing job fixing my Technics 1200. Made the whole process really easy.

Definitely recommend both the cafe & the repair shop.

Kaz was super nice. Very spacious, comfy vibe.

Not the place to go if you are hungry they do not seem to have much snacks however Kaz did let us taste a VERY delicious homemade muffin his mom made.

Coffee was very good according to my friend! Personally wish they had maple syrup or simple syrup ( I knowwwww but ill stand by it )

They sell vinyls & repair audio gear... & have music events.

I will return ( with my own maple syrup ) when I know im going to the studio next door

This cafe is the perfect spot for those seeking a latte or bite to eat, but where it really shines is with the sound system & audio repair shop - a definite haven for audiophiles! Kaz helped me out a ton by testing my speakers & giving an expert appraisal. They also had DeMello coffee, my personal fave. This spot is a hidden treasure in MTL!

This cafe is super cool. Nice atmosphere with the audiophonie. The owner is very friendly & we feel welcomed. There is a little friend which is super cute. We ordered iced latte & it was good. We will come back again.
