The cake was perfectly moist, with a delicate balance of sweetness & the distinct, luxurious flavor of saffron. Each bite felt like a little indulgence. It's clear that the ingredients are of the highest quality, & the attention to detail in every dish is evident. I can't recommend Café Aunja enough-if you're a fan of unique, flavorful desserts, the saffron cake is a must-try!
Beautiful vibe, delicious food, love the atmosphere. I'm from Toronto & I wish you guys open a branch here too! Looooved the food! The Persia Fog, the sandwiches & desserts were all very yummy!
This was the best London fog I've ever had! The Koukou sandwiches were also very tasty! Definitely stop by if you enjoy tea!
lovely place with a great old-style Persian breakfast serving Persian black tea. the cafe has a great unique design with lots of antiques & symbols of Iran that truly present Iran greatly. Truly recommend this cafe if you like to have an experience of Persian breakfast.
The place is nice, small portion, the service is ok. I'm not a fan of the organization: order at the cashier, pay right away, & tip at the end of the payment. If I don't get to see a service, how can I choose what amount to leave?! No one came to take away our plates after breakfast, for as long as we were there 1h
Loved this place. The food was tasty. The design & decor, needless to say, is beautiful. It creats a cozy environment. The drinks' prices are on higher end but I guess that is what to be paid, considering also the location. Overall, a great experience.
Didn't have food but I ordered a cappuccino. Cappuccino was not mind blowing it was ok, can't taste the coffee much. However, I really like the interior & ambiance of the place. Staffs are very friendly. It feels very cozy in here so
It was fantastic! All small considerations inspired by iranian culture & divers traditional stuff around. A variety of customers of different origins & all look happy with the menu, & were busy with warm discussions! I enjoyed it. A small reminder that I prefer warm Kolompé!
Very cute place with a warm & cozy & indeed, authentic ambience. The coffee & food was good BUT the service style is really not commensurate with the prices. Waiting to order in a line, not even getting served water on entering - take away from the experience. The servers also seem overworked. A better handling on service & logistics will make it a 5 out of 5 place!
"This was my first time at Café Aunja. The atmosphere is pleasant, & I tried the Majoun & Persian Fog. They were decent-not great, but acceptable. However, the main issue was the noise; the café was extremely loud. There was no table service, & we waited for 30 minutes before going up to the reception to place our order. We even had to clean our own table because no staff came to help. For a busy café, more staff is definitely needed. Additionally, the staff seemed quite serious & not friendly at all."
