Lowkey a very good place for sandwiches. Does not appear to be overwhelmed with tourists (yet) but behind its unassuming appearance hides a very interesting spot for Italian style sandwiches that pack a taste without hurting your wallet.
Food is pretty good, prices very affordable. The service is very good too - I had an issue with one of my sandwiches & they remade it much better without much questioning. I could tell the person in charge cares about the place as they purposefully went in the kitchen area to explain to cooks what was wrong with the sandwich & how to make it better.Voir plus

Le sandwich est délicieux & copieux. J'ai pris le petit qui s'est avéré amplement suffisant. Un autre endroit de sandwich style italien à ajouter sur votre liste!

I was very impressed with this café. This was my first stop when we arrive to Montreal. The sub was delicious & I quite enjoyed the seltzer. This is located in a great area with lots of other things to walk around & explore nearby.Voir plus

Stopped by for a small lunch & was not disappointed! The sandwiches are very well proportioned, & they are generous with their heaping of ingredients. The tiramisu iced latte was also delicious :)Voir plus

It is okay, the flavors are average, but the generous portions were a definite plus.
The space could use better upkeep. A little more care in the restrooms would also be a nice touch.Voir plus

Sandwiches are huge & delicious, drinks were good. Will be coming back to try other sandwiches & to enjoy the terrasse. I would recommend the spicy sausage sandwich out of the two we tried (charcuterie).Voir plus

Been here for coffee multiple times & it's always been nice (iced americano, flat white with oat milk) & also recently tried a cheesecake (blueberry) all very nice ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Cannot recommend the arancini (prosciutto) or hot sandwich (chicken parm) at all which is why this gets a three star overall. There is no flavour. The chicken was dry & overcooked. The sauce was bland. Both were unevenly warmed (microwaved?) & it was a very disappointing lunch in terms of taste, temperature & texture. Highlight was the bread used for the sandwich.
Will stick to the coffee & cheesecake options going forward.Voir plus

I'm normally not a big fan of eating sandwiches when I eat out, preferring to eat at restaurants with more'interesting' cuisines. However, my daughter wanted to eat At Café Americano, & when I saw the sandwiches people were eating, I said OK!
What a sandwich! I am still thinking about it! We shared the large Caprese, savouring the mozzarella, pesto, & tomato. Delicious!
We could have stopped there, but we also shared a delicious mushroom arancini. The mushroom flavour shone. We asked for the tomato sauce on the side, but they put it on top & if you are ordering it, I would suggest you ask for it on the side (to fully appreciate the mushroom element).
Unfortunately, we were too full to order a dessert, but the display of desserts was tempting- the key lime pie caught my eye.
Service was good. The person who took our order shared that it is a family run business which is nice.
The café is large & sunny with cheerful floral displays on the walls.Voir plus

Mon café glacé ( latté Tiramisu) était bon mais sans plus . Il m'a coûté 8$ . L'endroit n'est pas très grand il restait seulement une table pour nous . La nourriture avait l'air très bonne ( croissant, biscuits etc)Voir plus
