We initially needed a quick bite on our way out of Montreal & Cafe Alice was 1km from our hotel. This turned into us deciding to dine in & enjoy the ambiance of the cafe. The food was fantastic (cookie as dessert is a must), coffee was great & vibe passed the check (vinyl records playing & a few puppies as it's a dog friendly cafe). We will be back next time we are in Montreal!

I searched Google for a decent cafe while in Montreal & stumbled upon this complete gem! Such a cool spot & you can bring your dog. The owner was wonderful & a music enthusiast. You can expect to be serenaded via vinyl by the likes of Stevie Wonder or Ray Charles while sipping on their great coffee. Although I didn't get lunch, they have a pretty robust menu. Definitely checking it out again before I depart Montreal!

Easily became my favorite café in Montréal!

Visiting from NYC, I popped in for the first time because it was near the apt I was staying in, but I found myself stopping in for a morning cappuccino & an afternoon espresso on my trip just because it was the best coffee I had in the city. We tried the breakfast sandwiches & cookies, both were delicious & the bagel very fresh.

Also, the cafe & the owner, JF, are so lovely. We were looking forward to coming in just to chat & see Oreo, the puppy! 10 stars for everything: coffee, food, music, company, cleanliness & vibe!

We will be back soon!

I popped in to Cafe Alice to grab a coffee & a quick bite to eat while I finished up some work on my laptop.

JF the owner is so welcoming & friendly, my coffee & Bretzel were delicious & reasonably priced. The atmosphere is also really relaxed, perfect if you're busy yourself or a few friends. It's also accessible for wheelchairs & strollers which is fantastic!
