About

Café 5thFloor operates as a dedicated space for those pursuing simple, flavor-driven fare within a quiet setting. The menu centers on earthy, whisked matcha prepared with precision to highlight its grassy notes and velvety texture. Hand-rolled pastries arrive with flaky, buttery layers that yield to soft, sweet centers upon the first bite. Savory sandwiches feature house-baked bread filled with crisp greens and savory fillings that maintain a satisfying crunch throughout each layer. Quality beans ground on-site produce a deep, aromatic base for every cup poured across the counter. This establishment prioritizes straightforward preparation and the tactile pleasure of well-made snacks paired with grounded, natural flavors.

I'm not kidding when I say it's the best Filipino cafe there is in Montreal! They have great pastries (in the picture it's a hojicha brownie & a pandan coconut cookie), sando sandwich (you can even add an egg to it) & unique drinks (ube iced latte, turon latte & kalamansi lemonade). Their matcha & hojicha are solid as well, this is coming from someone who went here multiple times because, YES, it is that good. Their coffee is speciality coffee, so if you're a coffee-enthusiast, you'll really enjoy this cafe. They don't accept tips, but instead you can give to centraide Montreal, there isn't any pressure for you to pay more than your total & if you do decide to give extra, it's for a good cause. Plus, it's women-owned, which is so refreshing to see! It is a must-try in the Lasalle area.
