I found this cafe on TikTok & when I saw that it was Filipino, I was like, I gotta support my Kabayans as a fellow Filipino too haha. When we went last week, the ambience of the cafe was so nice, I love the little souvenirs on the sides.
I ordered a Matcha ube & ube cannelé & it was soooo good, I absolutely loved it! Especially the cannelé. (I forgot to take photos because I ate right away). I wanna try more of the menu, for sure!
Everyone was so kind too, the service was amazing! Will definitely come back for more!
Ouff, words can't describe how amazing the drinks & food were! Everything was absolutely delicious, & the place was so cozy & welcoming. The staff were so friendly & made the experience even better.
You definitely have to try this place! Highly recommend the Hojicha Ube drink & the Adobo sandwich. Masarap talaga! 😋❤?
We were in the area looking for a light sandwhich for lunch & im so glad we stumbled upon this cafe. I was gonna go for the egg & cheese sando but they ran out of eggs but im even happier i went with the chicken blt instead. The bacon is basically made of chicken instead of pork & adds so much flavor to the sandwhich. Not only that but the sandwhich is large because the bread is so fluffy & longg (look at picture). I recommend sharing one half with a friend. I want to say that this sando was so much better than this other popular & trendy cafe i've been to in sherbrooke mtl anddd this sando was only 11.50$
Not only that but the service here was super friendly & super welcoming!
Cafe 5th floor is a filipino women owned cafe, so u definetely should not be basic like me & should try their filipino recipes; chicken tocino or chicken adobo sandos as well as their ube tiramisu for a sweet treat!
My sister & i came from far but next time were around, we're definetely coming with an empty stomach & for some ube matcha!
Tried this new cafe spot in Lasalle, all my friends raved about it. The place is cute & cozy! I really enjoyed their ube iced latte & my husband loved their matcha calamansi drink. We also tried different types of sandwiches, our favourite was tosino sandwich! I had a great time there & met some new ppl. I would recommend this place if you wanna try some Filipino inspired food/coffee! Congrats to the owners, won't be last time we will be there! See yall again soon 😄
I'm not kidding when I say it's the best Filipino cafe there is in Montreal! They have great pastries (in the picture it's a hojicha brownie & a pandan coconut cookie), sando sandwich (you can even add an egg to it) & unique drinks (ube iced latte, turon latte & kalamansi lemonade). Their matcha & hojicha are solid as well, this is coming from someone who went here multiple times because, YES, it is that good. Their coffee is speciality coffee, so if you're a coffee-enthusiast, you'll really enjoy this cafe. They don't accept tips, but instead you can give to centraide Montreal, there isn't any pressure for you to pay more than your total & if you do decide to give extra, it's for a good cause. Plus, it's women-owned, which is so refreshing to see! It is a must-try in the Lasalle area.
