I came here with my sister for their hot chocolate, because u obviously must, & i got their classic dark hot chocolate & last minute, their classic crêpes (They were very generous with the dark chcoolate syrup in my hot chocolate🤭). Note, they offer brunch specials with a varitety of options for more than 50$ that i wasnt able to find on their website at first. Lastly, service was great, the waiter was very very kind.
Orderd food via Uber, they forgot my drinks, waffle was burnt & the chocolate was completly hard/stale
All of the hot items we ordered were cold, took extremely long & it wasn't even that busy. Service is slow. Order came out wrong. The bread on my plate was stale & hard as rocks. The'hot chocolate' was cold so I wouldn't even bother going here
Once again, to one of the best place in Montreal with two menus : Salted with Mediterranean food & chocolate-based. This was again.amazing..
if you are craving something sweet, you will definitely want to consider this place. the hot chocolate was really good, & the fondue was decent. i tried the dark & milk chocolate mix, & it was alright but i probably wouldn't order it again. the service was a bit slow but they were wrapping up a birthday party so that could've been a factor. i would return, but maybe just for the hot cocoa next time.
I had the best, most decadent hot chocolate I've ever had. It was rich & creamy without being too thick (that said I am very glad I took lactaid lol). The chocolate drizzle was also really good.
Very cute & aesthetic cafe with many options. The hot chocolate is thick & flavorful, & the service is excellent. Would recommend the layered chocolate dessert with tiramisu.
The waitress didnt know the menu & her communication skills were poor. The strawberries in the crepe with chocolate were not fresh at all, mushy, light pink & extremely thinly sliced. When I complained to the waitress, she said its because they were frozen, which was not true after I spoke to the manager (who was not found for about 5 minutes).
It is a beautiful, relaxing space. The staff are very friendly & prompt. The food is delicious. Fresh strawberries, warm crepes, & smooth dark chocolate.
Uber eats order - matcha hot chocolate was amazing but the marshmallow pizza was overcooked & hard as rock.
Ordered a classic hot chocolate. The wait time was about 10-minutes for the to go hot chocolate. Apparently there's dark chocolate & milk chocolate options. I ordered milk chocolate; it was too sweet for my taste & not thick enough.
Such a treat going here! The place was busy, but we were served quite quickly. We had a marshmallow sharing plate & fondue sharing plate that were perfect. A must stop if you're a chocolate lover with a major sweet tooth!
The downtown location was so much better. I came here with a friend & our experience was pretty subpar. The service is basically non-existent - when we arrived, the waitress pointed to a table instead of seating us. No water was offered & she disappeared so we waited at least 30 mins before someone else took our order. They got my friend's order wrong & the waiter almost seemed annoyed when we brought it up. My food was cold & boring, not even worth a picture. The only positive thing I can say is that their classic hot chocolate tastes amazing.
I was compelled to write this review from the first sip of the Biscoff Milkshake, even before the rest of the order arrived (unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of the milkshake before I absolutely destroyed it). It was so flavourful that it literally tasted like someone liquidated Biscoff. I usually don't like milkshakes & I can confidently say that this is the first time in my entire life that I have enjoyed a milkshake. The reason I don't like milkshakes is because I don't like the aftertaste of milk, but somehow that flavour & its back-of-the-mouth profile works so well in this rendition. The thing I love the most is the fact that nothing here is TOO SWEET. The cheesecake topped with melted dark chocolate was fantastically astounding & the whipped cream had such a soft, airy, subtle texture & taste that it was like eating a cloud. TBH I'm glad I didn't discover this place earlier because I would be so fat from coming here so often.
I've been living abroad for 6 years. Cacao 70 use to be one of the great places to take a date. Now it looks cheap, & run down. Chocolate is great though, quality of fruits was fresh & serving of everything was adequate for price. Really the decor & location need a revamp
This place is amazing! The food is so creative. I love the cacao park hot chocolate, it's the best I've ever had. Their chocolate fondue dishes are also delicious. The workers here are so warm & friendly. Don't miss out on this great place.
Sloppy service. Ordered the classic crepe with fresh strawberries (costs extra $2) as side & hot chocolate for pick up. The strawberries were missing & the hot chocolate was cold. It's very disappointing how they can mess up such a simple order. They even refused to refund or offer any store credit.
