Deuxième visite à la Buvette Nicole & nous sommes sous le charme!! L'équipe est chaleureuse & très sympathique. Les plats sont excellents. Le foie gras est un incontournable!!! Je recommande cet endroit à tous.
Très belle découverte dans le vieux port, un beau restaurant chaleureux & cosy, de l'accueil au service. La nourriture était incroyable, un des meilleurs tartare de boeuf de ma vie! La soupe & l'oignon excellent & le ribsteak cuit à la perfection!!

Nous y sommes allés à ce resto dans le cadre de MTLàTABLE2024. D'abord l'accueil fut presque cavalière, de type : "bonjour, vous avez une réservation?, Le table est au fond là-bas!" Heureusement la serveuse & les aides étaient formidables. Un excellent service & l'ambiance était bonne & agréable. Pour la bouffe, c'était correct. Pas gastronomique. Les portions petites. Les déserts ont vraiment déçus (genre compote aux pommes sur pain brioché). C'était bon! Mais pas gastronomique & trop simpliste pour le prix.
We enjoyed a lovely brunch, the breakfast sandwich was delicious. The potatoes were the star of the show, crispy & crunchy, with just the right amount seasoning. We had excellent service as well.

Formidable accueil & encore plus formidable tartine de saumon. Le goût est frais & fin, je recommande vivement ! Quel dommage que je n'ai pas un estomac plus grand, j'en aurais pris une deuxième :)
Really adorable spot in Old Montreal area that we stumbled upon for brunch! Our server (a man; can't remember his name) was so friendly, quick & sweet. The food was delicious & portioned well. We also had mimosas & they were amazing! The vibe was very welcoming & everybody on the team made an effort to chat with guests & make their experience memorable. Loved it!
If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. My husband & I went for lunch today & sat at the bar because it looked so cozy. The decor of the place is super stylish & inviting. We had the pleasure of being served by Ce. She was amazing! So hospitable, friendly, attentive & overall a fabulous person. Jordan wasn't our server but he was also awesome, as the second he heard us ask Ce for extra tissues, he was right there with them, & it shows they have a great team that works together while having fun. The food & drinks were delicious. We had the beef tartare with fries with shaved truffles & the beef sandwich. Everything exceeded our expectations. It was our weekend away visiting Montreal & we felt the warm hospitality of the city right in this place. We are both very grateful to the staff of Buvette Nicole for making our visit a very fun & welcoming one.
Incredible experience. Chef Alexander Zelina brings his experience from the highest level at a decent price. It's a given that this restaurant is underrated for what you get & the price you pay. Would recommend to anyone who wants authenticity in the old port.

We stopped in, last night, & made some Lovely memories. Our bartender/server Adam was delightful. We got to meet his Mom, who had just Arrived from Greece for a solid visit with her son. The other servers were equally as great. The wine was good & the charcuterie Board was amazing. Other diners were having fun & eating great food also. What a lovely atmosphere to enjoy. We were sad to leave, & could have just stayed all night.
Adding yet another strong review for Buvette Nicole. The meal was delicious resulting in a lively debate afterward about which of the five delicious items we shared was our favorite (a tie between the tuna sashimi & cheesecake - remarkable because I don't even like cheesecake - honorable mention to the beef tartare). Bravo chef & crew. Our server Jordan was a hoot; the entire front of house team was first rate - friendly, professional, efficient. A bonus to sit outside on perhaps one of the last evenings this year that will be possible.
Is it possible the restaurant would water down the glass of Sancerre that I ordered recently during its happy hour? It sure tasted like that. & I would have enjoyed my meal much more if it had been hot, not lukewarm.
Absolutely delicious. The waiter & the food were desirable. The plating, elegance, & taste was more than I could've ever hoped for. Jordan, not only beautiful but extremely attentive & an absolute pleasure. Steven's managing style is a quality most restaurants would hope for. 11/10. Would defiantly go again.
