A wonderful experience at Buvette Nicole. The Beef Bourguignon was excellent & the service was wonderfully attentive to our group of 7. Other standouts were the fois gras & cheesecake.
The bartender was attentive & made you feel at home. There were some regulars sitting at the bar & you could see they came back because of her. I will definitely be back...
Went for brunch with a couple friends & we all had a great time! Coffee was delicious & so was the omelette which was very filling. Our server was also very friendly!

Beau petit resto, le personnel est super gentil. On a attendu pour recevoir nos plats mais nous étions en vacances. Les prix sont très raisonnables & les portions sont parfaites.
Beautifully designed, warm & comfortable seating, & the service was above & beyond! Sheldon was so personable, it really made the whole experience for us! Oh & did I mention that the food is out of this world??!!!
J'ai adoré mon expérience chez Buvette Nicole. J'étais seule j'ai donc réservé pour être au bar & j'ai apprécié le service d'Olivier. Il y avait une belle ambiance, une qualité de plat de cocktail à la hauteur de mes attendes. C'est assez dispendieux mais délicieux.

Brunch was absolutely wonderful! Warm & friendly ambience; our server Sheldon made us feel very welcome, answered our many questions & discussed the menu knowledgeably. All of the food was very delicious & beautiful. We willl be back to check out the terrace & the desserts!
To say we enjoyed this restaurant is an understatement. A friend & I are visiting Montreal & this place was recommend by a local. The atmosphere was very nice with dim lightening & a mix of Jazz, French, & Italian music. All the food looked absolutely delicious. We settled on the Famous Fondue for two. What a fun dish to eat! BUT the absolute best part of our night was actually our server, Jordan. He was attentive from the moment we walked in the door, a real joy. He was so funny. Even told us about the'dare' when the bread is dropped into the fondue. We had an over all GREAT experience at Buvette Nicole. Highly recommend.
This has been our go-to spot for about 5 years now. We visit Buvette Nicole every time we come to Montreal (once or twice a year) & we tell our friends to go there whenever they are in the city. (Always positive feedback). The staff are lovely (shout out to Olivier for hosting us so wonderfully last night). The atmosphere is cosy & the food is always excellent. The steak tartare & the escargot are a must try! Go for the happy hour drink specials (between 4-6) & stay for dinner.
The food is great, good & unique combination of flavors. We had the special, the beef skewers & poutine. The special lasagna was delicious.

We had a wonderful time here! The food was fantastic, very lovely atmosphere. They were surprisingly packed but our server Andrew & his colleague took great care of us. Our first dining experience in Montreal & it made us feel very welcome.
Super belle expérience à la Buvette Nicole! Nous y sommes allés hier avec mon copain & notre bébé de six semaines. Elle a dormi tout le long, mais l'équipe a été vraiment gentille & accueillante. Comme ce n'était pas trop occupé pour un jeudi d'hiver, on a même pu l'installer confortablement sur la banquette.
Les serveurs étaient super aimables, le service rapide & la nourriture excellente. Nous avons pris la salade de betteraves, le foie gras, le tartare de boeuf & la fondue au fromage - tout était délicieux!
Une petite ambiance décontractée & très cool dans le Vieux-Port. Je recommande à 100 % & j'y retournerai, c'est sûr!
