During a vacation in Montréal, I had dinner at Buvette Beaubien. I was a little hesitant to go there because I'd read that it was a good place for a hamburger, & I'm not crazy about hamburgers. But I was hungry & it was late. I was greeted warmly & treated like royalty. The waiter was professional & friendly & never tried to hurry me. The menu had plenty of choices besides hamburgers, & I was happy to see a lot of wines available by the glass, which is not always the case in Montreal. I ordered a grilled salmon sandwich & a glass of wine. It was absolutely wonderful! Although I'm sure I've said this before about a delicious meal, I truly think it was the best meal I've ever had. Highly recommend this spot. Great atmosphere & delicious food. We were four & got the chefs choice menu -- for 41 cad you get a sampler of appetizers, entrees, & dessert. The particularly nice thing is that we got 4 different appetizers, & 4 different mains so you get to try a ton of tasty stuff. The highlights to me were the mushroom tart & the tartare but all of the dishes were good. Really extensive wine list & great service as well.
Le temps d'une soirée on se serait cru dans une brasserie parisienne, le plateau de charcuteries & de fromages & PAIN À VOLONTÉ , le vin, l'ambiance... J'ai adoré l'expérience & mes enfants aussi, on saura où aller lorsqu'on aura le mal du pays. J'y retournerais sûrement!
Meilleur endroit de la planète!! Service exceptionnel (Gaël & Xavier sont des personnes très dynamiques & passionnées! Karl fait des cocktails délicieux.) La cuisine se réinvente au fil des saisons. Merci pour ces merveilleux moments!! Je ne peux que recommander!

L'expérience client la plus minable & la plus rapide de toute ma vie! On m'avait dit qu'ils ne prenaient pas les réservations, & quand on s'est présenté quelques heures plus tard, malgré une multiplicité de tables vides, on nous a fait croire que le restaurant était plein toute la soirée. Au final, il s'agissait d'un chichi du propriétaire qui connaissait la personne avec qui j'étais & qui ne souhaitait pas la servir (je souhaite souligner qu'il n'y a pas de raison connue pour ce refus). Je n'avais rien à voir avec l'affaire & on ne m'a ni dit bonjour ni présenté d'excuses. Ça donne pas envie d'y retourner 😊
Buvette Beaubien is such an awesome place. We got the cheese plate & it was beyond good. The cheese plate was perfect for two people. The natural Grenache was soooo good too!! Must try if you're in the area for lunch!
Très bon plats. Bel endroit, bel accueil. Le menu du chef à deux est parfait pour parcourir l'ensemble du menu. La carte des vins est très bien faite. Très bonne soirée. Proposer un accord mets & vins conviendrait aussi parfaitement
Je fréquente plusieurs buvettes & c'est une de mes préférées côté carte des vins & service. Planches respectables & verdures bien croustillante.;) Moins aimé le tartare de boeuf mais bon j'y vais vraiment plus pour le vin & le staff. ✌️
Great music. Cute decor. Friendly efficient service. The mixed charcuterie/cheese board was delicious & filling for two people. My friend picked the Bruno red off the list, & it was a great pairing.
