Having ordered 3 takeout items from here for a whopping $64, I had the displeasure of unboxing: 6 very thin & extremely oily mozza sticks without a complementary sauce (one might expect to enjoy this with marinara or anything really-from the customer's POV, "extra" sauces such as ketchup & mayo do not compensate for the lack of a specific sauce for the mozza sticks, especially when they are priced at $18), dry & densely breaded onion rings & a milkshake that really was just a blob of ice cream floating in milk. I should mention that as a regular Burger Fiance & Bvrger customer before they merged, I have ordered these items in the past & have never had these issues arise; mozza sticks were always large & came with sauce, onion rings were crispy & milkshakes were well blended. I will say that the cheeseburger was good & unchanged. In short, I have difficulty comprehending charging customers upwards of $60 (& that with a $12 discount applied via the delivery platform) for food that objectively should not have left the kitchen in the first place (with the exception of the burger). Hoping this was simply a faulty order, because this is far from what I would expect from Burger Fiancé or Bvrger.
Tasty 100% Vegan burgers. I'd recommend to any health conscious foodies. The Kim Chi fries are a must upgrade.
Amazing staff. Amazing food. Amazing drinks. I went twice for dinner in a a row but I miss it already after being back in my home city for a few days. Will probably come back to mntl just for this tbh. Pls check them out & tip the staff well!!!!
Hidden vegan gem recommended for EVERYONE 🙌 It was an absolute delight having lunch here. The hamburgers were the most amazing I've ever tasted with a delicious combination of flavors. The fries were also exceptional.. The highlight: the cauliflower entrée - it was to die for! I couldn't get enough of it & would have easily ordered three more to-go. The service was fantastic. Having only an hour for lunch on a busy weekday, the staff ensured we were served in record time without any delays. Their efficiency was impressive. I highly recommend this place to everyone, even if you're not vegan. It's a hidden diamond in the heart of downtown Montreal, & it's definitely worth a visit.
We loved our 1st visit to Montreal & we were fortunate to find this delicious place! My wife & son said the gyro was the best they have ever had!
Such a good little burger spot. My boyfriend who is not vegan actually asked to come back for a second time during our trip because he loved the poutine so much! First visit we dined in & it was amazing. The fiancée burger & fiancée poutine are so, so good. The 2nd time we got take out & unfortunately we were given inedible, extremely burnt onion rings. I am actually shocked that the kitchen would serve them to a customer.. We tried one & they were nasty & went straight to the garbage which is a let down as they were a $5 up charge. I would still go back but I'm super bummed that this happened.
gone downhill since the merger with bvrgr. - waffle fries now cost extra - they killed the pulled pork mac n' cheeze, no longer on the menu - most of the burger fiance burgers are gone & have been replaced with items from the bvrgr menu (including all of my favourites) - staff seems to have changed & service is worse
Vraiment bon petit resto végane, en plus il a des options sans gluten. Service excellent. Les meilleures frites en ville. Seul petite déception, j'avais vu en ligne qu'il y avait des hot-dog mais cet option n'était plus disponible.
I'm vegan, so of course I'll come back here, but I came here twice this week & things were off. 1. Ordered the Chezburger with side salad. I wasn't given the option for a party so I went to the counter to confirm I'm having the house patty, not the impossible patty, only to be told they're out of house patties 2. I canceled the burger & ordered the fiancé salad. It was missing arugula, chick peas, green onions, sesame seeds & something else. So basically a $16 dollar bowl of lettuce 3. My salad arrived before the fork. Why? 4. Came back for the Banana Sunday, but there's no banana, no whip, & no strawberry sauce. Server made a comment about lack of cutlery as we waited for spoons When a place is 86'd important items, it's an indicator that it's going to close. I hope Burger Fiancé orders the missing food inventory & buys some more cutlery.
Great vegan spot the food was delicious but my chicken burger was a bit overcooked, the waffle fries are creative & well done. The service was great, the servers were bilingual, easy-going, & friendly environment. The atmosphere is chill the music just ties in perfectly with the setting, & the outside patio is clean & organized.
Ordered a take out! 1) ordered a basic cheez burger. The patty wasn't bad, but there was almost no sauce in my burger, just a tiny smear on the bun & that's it. The burger had an average patty, scant sauce, one slice of tomato & a small piece of lettuce. $18 for that? 2) it was a take out, there were no napkins. She asked if we wanted utensils. 3) their kimchi waffle fries were cold. Not worth it!
Stumbled across this vegan burger joint & decided to do for lunch. We had the pulled pork & fiance burger. Both amazing
Absolutely Amazing! Flavour + Portion + Price = Absolute Value! First time dining in, but I'm sure will be repeating on regular visits to Montreal. & All Vegan...! Tres Magnifique!
Waited 50 minutes for the appetizers to arrive, then another 20 minutes for main course. Onions rings & fries came with no sauces whatsoever. Burgers were good.
So great to have a fully plant-based vegan burger restaurant with all the classic foods like'milk' shakes &'cheese' burgers. I had the Mama mia burger & it was so crispy & delicious. Very cute location. We came just before they closed but they still did a take out order for us really quickly. Only thing is the portion of fries you get with the order is quite small if you are very hungry. Looks like they close the milk shake machine an hour before closing
I visited Burger Fiance twice during my visit to Montreal. I got the Fiance Burger on the first visit & the Cheeseburger on my second. Both burgers were huge & very filling. My friend (non-vegan) got the Gyros Pita, Kimchi Fries & Poutine & said those were really good & flavorful, especially the Poutine. She tried regular Poutine at another restaurant & said it wasn't as good as BF's lol. I feel that we got more than enough food for what we paid. Good location & very cute inside as well. I tried the raspberry mojito, not too big of a fan of raspberry so I'll stick with traditional mojitos next time I visit.
agréablement surprise par ce restaurant végétalien, les burgers sont délicieux & les frites aussi par compte les cocktails goûtent la même chose & le service est très lent...
Well made vegan diner food. The milkshakes are better than they should be. Poutine was great as well.
