Loved this place! Truffle burger was super tasty & had a great mix of textures with the onion ring & sauces. I'm glad we opted for the house patty. It had a really nice texture & flavor & was not dry at all. The poutine fiancé was huge, hearty, & full of flavor, with juicy & crispy seitan. The unexpected star of our dinner was the kale caesar salad. Nicely massaged kale, covered with a blend of "bacon" bits & capers. We were scraping the bowl! The berry & pistachio shake was also really good. We didn't catch our young server's name, but she was great & answered all our questions on quebeçois culture, too!
Such a good little burger spot. My boyfriend who is not vegan actually asked to come back for a second time during our trip because he loved the poutine so much! First visit we dined in & it was amazing. The fiancée burger & fiancée poutine are so, so good. The 2nd time we got take out & unfortunately we were given inedible, extremely burnt onion rings. I am actually shocked that the kitchen would serve them to a customer.. We tried one & they were nasty & went straight to the garbage which is a let down as they were a $5 up charge. I would still go back but I'm super bummed that this happened.
I visited Burger Fiance twice during my visit to Montreal. I got the Fiance Burger on the first visit & the Cheeseburger on my second. Both burgers were huge & very filling. My friend (non-vegan) got the Gyros Pita, Kimchi Fries & Poutine & said those were really good & flavorful, especially the Poutine. She tried regular Poutine at another restaurant & said it wasn't as good as BF's lol. I feel that we got more than enough food for what we paid. Good location & very cute inside as well. I tried the raspberry mojito, not too big of a fan of raspberry so I'll stick with traditional mojitos next time I visit.
Super adorable place. They make their own burger patty & the gluten free bread was delicious. Poutine app was HUGE & so full of flavor. I wish we had food this good in Vermont. Also 5 star milkshakes. Definitely coming back again :)
THE ONE & ONLY very BEST poutine in town!!!!!! That say it all! The vibe here is also smooth, warm & welcoming. 🥰We seriously had an amazing evening ... & the poutine with waffle fries is always as deliiiiiiiiiiiciiiiiious, you MUST MUST MUST try it!! I promise you'll be so glad for the discovery.
The food was amazing! I'm lactose intolerant & my husband is deathly allergic to eggs, so I tend to choose to go vegan when we go out. This was the best vegan I have had!! My husband even liked it, & he is extremely picky. We tried a burger, fiancé poutine, kimchi fries, grilled cheese. We enjoyed every morcel & even got desserts. We will be back soon to try more!
I went last night with my boyfriend for the second time, the food & service were excellent. We ordered the cauliflower bites as a starter, they were hot, crispy & tasty. We ordered the fiancé burger with onion rings, & hot dog with poutine. Everything was delicious, except we personally didn't like the hot dog. The poutine tastes authentic. We also got strawberry milkshakes which are to die for. Best milkshakes I've ever had. The service was fast & the staff were very friendly & polite. If you're going on a Saturday night I definitely suggest a reservation. Will certainly be coming back :)

Creative & delicious vegan food. The beer was cold & the service was prompt. Nice atmosphere. Poutine filled me up so much that I wanted to puke in a good way.
Très bons plats ! La poutine pulled pork est très copieuse. Le Kimchi Dog l'est tout autant, les frites ont une forme peu commune mais n'en sont pas moins délicieuses. Le service est par ailleurs au top !
Everything is vegan! "Pulled pork" sandwich is amazing as well as the kimchi fries & poutine! The fiancé burger was the only "okay" thing but we loved everything else. Got served very quickly. Highly recommend!
