First of all, the food was cold & hard, no one greeted us, when we asked for water she was so rude about it, the floors were dirty & sticky, the bathrooms were nasty as if no one cleaned them since they opened, as we were about to pay one of the waiter said they were my mother, which caught me off guard because my mother was next to me. As we were paying, we told him we were unhappy with the service & we wouldn't tip. He said he would charge us for two people but he charged us for three, & he kept insisting to tip 10% for taxes & entered the tip amount himself without our consent. Never coming back again
I've been wanting to come here for months & when my wife & I got here, we didn't enjoy our meal. Pretty expensive for 2 people at lunch & we were forced to tip when we didn't get any service. I really wanted to like this place, but ended up getting food poisoning

Le serveur nous a demandé de payer la facture avant même de commencer à manger ,il nous a remis une facture sans détail & il met le tips lui même qui coûte environ 20% de montant de la facture.On se ramasse une facture salée,le serveur te dis les breuvages sont gratuits pourtant c est inclus dans la facture,bref,le service est mauvais,on te coupe l appétit avant même de commencer à mange
First impression is the place is clean & busy.Tried to make a reservation but the girl on the phone said no reservation under 8 people so we went there & wait for half an hour.fine
The food is like a continental but a bit worst. There's something that's taste good but mostly not . Even the fruits donesnt look good. Look like fruit that's been out for too long & sitting in it's juice all mushy .sushi is bad & chewy
Then just when we sit down the waiter asked us to pay right the way he said it will be slow if everyone ask him at the sametime... Fine.
What's not fine is that they put the amount of tips for you (15%ish I calculated) but the costumer should always be the one who choose how much tips they want to give. It is illegal btw for them to do not have option for costumers to change the amount of tips.
& dude when you collect the plate on costumer table don't touch the utensils they are using period..... Ask them if they want to keep it or if they want a new one. The guy just casually grab my fork & put on table. I know it might be OCD of me but I don't put my utensils on the table without napkins.
Over all probably not gonna go back with this price is just not worth the experience.staffs are friendly but have no idea about dinning service. I would say authentic family run Chinese cuisine experience.

Because the reviews were already low, I was hesitant about going, but I decided to give it a chance & visit for the first time.
From the very beginning, the experience was bad.
They made us stand at the entrance for about 10 minutes before giving us a table.
The water they served was in a dirty glass with lipstick marks on it.
The staff were extremely rude.
Every time I went to get food, one of the male servers (middle-aged) kept walking back & forth & staring at my plate. It made me very uncomfortable. I don't think it's appropriate for a server to watch what I eat & how much I eat.
The service was very poor overall.
The food was terrible. I took very small portions (just one spoon) from each dish just to test if it was edible. Unfortunately, I couldn't eat any of them. Only the ready-made desserts were okay.
When I asked for the bill, I waited around for five minutes looking for someone to help me. In the end, I had to stand up & go to that same male server. He told me to come over & literally dragged me to where he was standing to give me the bill.
He was very rude. He stood right over me & said,'This part is for tip, you have to tip.'
I was shocked. With this terrible service, how do you expect a tip?!
He was so disrespectful that he said:
'Why did you take food from everything? You should only take what you like & eat it.'
Even though none of the food was good.
Because of his behavior, I skipped the tip.
He got so angry that he scared me & kept saying,'Why didn't you tip me? You have to tip.'
Went there 3 times this week due to the holidays! After spending 100$ on the last 2 visits, the waiter asked my group of 4, 3 of which were elderly individuals to pay before eating & offered unlimited sodas as a reward. We refused & afterwards I only tipped 13% instead of the usual 20%. Won't be returning to this place again!

We came to this restaurant/buffet for dinner.As soon as we sat down,we asked the server a quick question about a promotion occuring at that time.He replied to us with an attitude;as if he was in a rush,& told us to sit down & wait for 5 minutes WITHOUT any explanation.As you people reading this, I'm sure we all agree that a buffet shouldn't have restrictions but yet here we are;my family was unable to eat anything while we wait for 5 minutes with our stomachs starving to our skull.My wife couldn't tolerate one more minute to look at our kid's face filled with anger, depression & jealousy,so she went up & searched for the server that served us,& asked him why did WE had to wait 5 minutes while the other people eating at that time didn't.Guess what the server responded!!!He said(without a smile on his face of course):'Wait for 5 minutes because freshly cooked food are on the way.You can go eat if you want but I'm just telling you to wait for 5 minutes for fresh food.'This is what fueled my wife's anger.She knew that if you were going to make us wait, at least inform us of the issue BEFOREHAND.It is unethical & unprofessional on his part to just simply tell us to wait WITHOUT explanation & telling it with an attitude (what I mean by his attitude is not smiling & rushing to serve us).
After we ate comfortably without that specific server pissing us off,I can personally confirm that the food over there was okay.However,the food stalls were pretty much empty (mostly the fish) & they only restocked it slowly.So it comes back to our argument:why make us wait when the food restocked slowly?
The environment over there was absolutely insane though.Even with all my anger & hate for that buffet,your eyes can't say that the decorations were ugly because if you actually observed them carefully,you'd see it's refined paintings.The space was enormous too so I don't understand why I saw other people waiting...but that's for another time.
After we barely finished eating,the server came back with a paycheck.The tip was decided by them & the amount was 15$.FIFTEEN DOLLAR FOR A HORRENDOUS SERVICE...Insane.We know tips are obligated,but for a server like him,it should be 5$ at most.
Anyways here's a suggestion for buffet Oui Oui:train your servers.I saw plenty of reviews complaining about your servers so you should take that in consideration please.
There is a very low chance my family comes back to this restaurant.

Le service était horrible nous étions à peine arriver qu'on nous demande de payer & de mettre tu tips alors qu'on a même pas encore reçu de service. La servante était arrogante avec nous & a mis le tips à notre place & nous a dit que cetais obligatoire. On a reçu des verres casser. Honnêtement je ne recommande vraiment pas ce buffet je suis très étonné & déçu le comportement des serveuse mon gâcher mon moment de repos

I love this buffet so much. I am going there twice a month. Everything is fine but the thing I don't like is there is one server he always force me to give the tip. He always says service is not included im the price he repeats this line two three times to make you feel embarass.We take our food by ourselves Waiters only remove the used dishes thats normal in every restaurant. I think waiters are getting their salaries for serving the customers but forcing for the tip is not a good behaviour or you should write at the front door if tip is obligatory so we can decide for entering
Food was okay, nothing special, on the same level as Foolam but I had a decent enough experience with the food. What bothered me is the service, older gentleman was over the top constantly filling up our cups despite the jug being full we can serve ourselves. We were there at 4:30pm yesterday.
It was obvious he was fishing for a tip. We ended up paying 170$ including taxes & gave the gentleman a 10$ tip but he started questioning me on whether the service was poor because the tip isn't even 5%.
Need I remind you, tips are not mandatory & it is not our obligation to pay for your salary. We are serving ourselves, you are just filling up the water. It's quite frustrating having to deal with this in every asian restaurant. Have you no shame? 10$ is a great tip, that's almost an hours worth of work in most minimum wage jobs, we were there for 45min, he served multiple tables. It adds up, quickly.
He showed his dissatisfaction with the tip, throwing his hands around angry, he then walked off but then cameback to grab the 10$ frustrated right after I was going to take it back. I should have taken it back & told him no tip but I really didn't have time for that.
Gouvement needs to step up & ban tips. It's getting quite ridiculous. I feel like as clients we are being taken advantage of. Its a social cause for me.
Food was good. Its a buffet so you have the all you can eat option or you can just order a meal from the menu. Food was hot & always replenished quickly. Dirty plates were picked up quickly.There are free drinks for groups of 10 & more. Only problem I had was that they automatically add the gratuity to our bill which we were unaware of. Should have been communicated beforehand not when they isnt a choice. We could have paid separately & chosen our own tip amount.
The restaurant is large, but very noisy. We arrived at 7pm on a Saturday & even though it was almost full, the buffet ends at 8pm. The staff is polite, however the hostess couldn't find us a clean table to be seated.
The food wasn't very good. It wasn't because the choices were out too long since they were being refilled. The dumpling were very rubbery, the Singapore noodles were all overcooked & broken into tiny pieces, & the shanghai noodles as well had no spice which is strange for 2 szechuan dishes. General Tao tasted like the sweet & sour pork, couldn't tell them apart. The sautéed mushrooms had no flavor unfortunately. The spring rolls were a mushy paste inside. There were these large shrimps in tempura with the heads on, but the whole shrimp still had it's shell, so you had to remove all the outside, plus none of them were deveined! The desserts were ok. Our waiter must've forgotten about us because our empty dishes stayed on the table. For $50 per person plus tax & tip, I was extremely disappointed. It was the first buffet we go to since 3 years ago. Will not be returning.

They don't respond to any negative reviews. Food made 2 people very sick. They charged us 15% tip on the buffet & we didn't know & gave them a tip! The decent things to do, is let us know but they didn't. Horrible service, greedy, shady. Low quality food, it's been reheated & overcooked for a reason. Food will make you sick. Overpriced & low quality.
Crowded SUPER CROWDED, you cant even walk u need to wait minutes to get your food or desserts. not that much options for 36 99 evening supper on weekends which is super expensive . You kind of eat the same food over & over . They also add their tip in the bill. Instead of us deciding what percentage of tip to give them based on service. Fulam was one of the best sad they closed.
First time back to the former restaurant known as Fu Lam in years. I really enjoyed the food & the service from the hostesses was amazing. But the following things ruined our evening. Plates & cleanliness . Why are the plates at foot level under the food at the buffet ? Not washed properly & dirty. Why were the waiters constantly removing our plates when we weren't finished with them ? Rushing us to eat ? & we were a party of 8 people. Why did the waiter put the tips on our bills before giving them to us ? Legally by law you can do that with larger parties 15-20 people & the customers need to be informed before eating. & finally Roast Beef & large Ham should be cut by a server. Not customers who miscut the food & leave it messy for other customers. I'm hopeful to see some improvements on my next visit.
Very nice staff but be careful because they will add the tip to the bill without telling you also they'll sham you if you ask them why they put the illegal tip & I'll be paying upwards of $100 for 2 people is ridiculous.
