Well, for a buffet for two on a Friday night with a pitcher of cola & tax & tip came out to $99. the buffet was $34 per person because it was Friday. Well the place was not packed either. Long story short, it's too much to pay for frozen foods served at a buffet. The food was mediocre at best. The mini hot dogs looked like shriveled foreskin, the egg roll shell tasted like cardboard. & the imitation crab & shrimp were not great either. I love shrimp, & I found I didn't bother for seconds. The fried calamari was ok, & the chicken wings were fine. Wonton soup was good. All in all as I said, not worth the money spent. I should have just ordered a pizza & wings at home instead. Staff was friendly & I had no problem with their service.
I recently drove an hour to Fu Lam Restaurant for lunch with my family, only to have a very disappointing experience. Before heading out, I checked Google, which showed that the restaurant was open. However, when I arrived, I was met by a very rude man who abruptly informed me that the restaurant was closed. Even though the opening hours were clearly displayed on the board, when I asked for more details about why it was closed & when it would reopen, the man rudely repeated, "I said it's closed, which means it's closed." His dismissive attitude & lack of any explanation left me with no choice but to leave. This is not how customers should be treated. The lack of communication & the rude behavior were completely uncalled for. It's disappointing to see a restaurant handle things this way, especially after making a long trip based on the information provided online. I definitely won't be returning, & I wouldn't recommend this place to others.
yea i stopped going there a few years ago i go to MING WAH further from laval but 10 times better even on week days fu lam in laval is a joke. MING WAH has a big choice of desserts really really good read the reviews so i tried it wasn't disappointed at all

Bon rapport prix qualité! On y trouve une grande variété de plats qu'on retrouve habituellement dans les buffets à volonté. Le serveur attitré à ma zone du restaurant était souriant, rapide & serviable. J'ai goûté un peu de tout alors les photos de mes assiettes pourraient ne pas mettre en valeur les différents plats... Tout était bon cependant comme les goûts ne se discutent pas j'aurais préféré que le (poulet Général Tao soit moins sec, les crevettes panées moins brunies par la friture .... Il y avait aussi une longue file d'attente pour un met préparé par un chef. Cela avait l'air très populaire! alors ce sera pour une autre fois! Le restaurant est propre & à l'heure de mon arrivée (13h un jour de semaine), les toilettes l'étaient aussi.
Nice food, they have a grill as well where you can choose your dish & ingredients to be cooked by a chef. Convenient place for family & friends. We use to have a Fu Lam in LaSalle, we loved it. Bigger space clean & well lit. Overall 4/5
Service médiocre, croquettes pas quali du tout, rouleaux de printemps c plus des rouleaux d'automne la😬, ambiance c quoi cette moquette, chaise en ciment & pour couronner le tout on nous a fait payer au début alors que tout le monde à payer à la fin, pour vous mettre dans le contexte on est noir & arabes😬 racisme...?
