Buffet Chinois Fu Lam offers an expansive selection of traditional Chinese and Szechuan dishes served in a large, communal dining hall. Guests access a wide variety of freshly prepared options, ranging from classic stir-fried meats and vegetable medleys to savory dim sum selections and crispy appetizers. The menu highlights bold spices and authentic seasonings characteristic of Szechuan culinary traditions, balanced alongside milder, crowd-pleasing Cantonese preparations. The buffet format prioritizes high-volume accessibility, featuring hot tables kept stocked with rotating entrées and steamed items. The environment focuses on functionality and efficiency, providing ample seating arrangements suitable for large groups or families seeking diverse meal options in a single setting. This establishment emphasizes consistent preparation techniques across an extensive repertoire of regional specialties to provide a comprehensive sampling of pan-Asian flavors.
Buffet Chinois Fu Lam offers a traditional Chinese American buffet experience that many customers find convenient and satisfying for hearty appetites, despite some mixed reviews regarding food freshness and consistency. While numerous diners praise the diverse menu, friendly staff, and great value for lunch, others point out that the decor feels dated and the pricing can be high for the quality provided. Experiences vary significantly depending on the time of visit, with some guests enjoying hot, fresh dishes and attentive service, while others report issues with food temperature, limited variety, or unprofessional interactions with staff. Overall, it remains a nostalgic, family friendly destination for those seeking an all-you-can-eat meal, though individual experiences regarding cleanliness and service levels can be inconsistent.
Super service, le personnel est agréable & attentionné!!! :) les plats sont tous pleins & frais (&chauds).
Du goût! Ce qui est rare dans des buffets ! :)
Yesterday was by far the worst experience i had in this restaurant. We just arrived, we didn't even had the time to sit down & we were asked if we want something to drink...like it was rush rush. Also the shrimps were greasy, missing tools to put ice cream & so on. On top of this, the waiter brought us the bill without even asking for it with the explanation that his shift is ending. I believe we still spent 30 min ...approx... & he was still working. Even so, we left him a tip of more than 15%. I wanted to order more beer but i didn't want to pay again, bill after bill, so in the end we left. No more this place for me, for us. FYI, my order nr is: 299035-5
I went once this summer on a weekend, it was okay, nothing impressive & it had some good choices of food. I went back on a Tuesday this time & it wasn't a pleasing experience: very limited food choices, food tasted like plastic, all of the food wasn't heated as it's supposed to be. I guess they put in more effort for the weekends only as it's busier. I would never refer this place to a friend/family for a buffet. For the same amount of money, might as well just go to Buffet Continental, much better food & atmosphere.
I took a take out plate, 18$ for chiken teriyaki with veggies, I never saw as cheap as that plate. Kids portion with 4 peaces of chiken & vegies with a lot of liquid with it. It's been 4 years I stopped going to Fu Lam, because ofbthe prices, yesterday confirms my decision again to me. Such a shame.
