This is a solid 4 star experience in my opinion. Price is really reasonable, choices are varied but it's not overly complex, desserts have great variety too & everything is super fresh & tasty. The waiters were do attentive I could barely finish a glass of water before it was refilled. I am so impressed honestly & will definitely be back.
I recently dined at Fu Lam Buffet & was impressed! The vast selection of dishes catered to various tastes, from seafood to vegetarian options. Standouts included succulent shrimp, tender beef, & flavorful stir-fries. Sushi & dessert stations offered delightful treats. Service was attentive, with friendly staff replenishing dishes promptly. Cleanliness & ambiance were also noteworthy. Overall, Fu Lam Buffet offers exceptional value, quality, & variety. Ideal for family gatherings, dates, or group outings.
First time the food was bad..it was like old..the dessert was better..
Very friendly customer service at the front & from the waiter who regularly came to pick up the plates & refill the glasses with water.
I was pleasantly surprised with the food, I enjoyed many dishes, mostly seafood, rolls, noodles, & soup, that were well cooked & seasoned. I also enjoyed the ice creams (mango, strawberry, & vanilla) & a few cakes (pistachios, blueberry ice cream, & vanilla). The taste of those desserts was well-balanced & not too sugary. The fresh fruits were very juicy & sweet. I also had a Jasmine tea, which I drank along with dessert.
However, the washroom smelled so repulsive, which is why I put 3 stars for the atmosphere. I went in the beginning, & unfortunately, I forgot to let the manager know before leaving. Hopefully, they will read this review & do something about it.
Otherwise, I could consider going back or recommending, with discretion.
When I eat I want a balance of meats & other things in my dish. As for other things there is a plethora of selections, but when it comes to meat this place disappoints.
I counted a total of 3 red meats I couldn't touch because of too much sugar. I prefer sweetness in my dessert, not in my main course. Then there is chicken wings, the only meat I could eat & that is made of mostly skin & tendons. There are two other choices, hot dogs & bacon that I consider junk.
The same chain Restaurant in Montreal offers sushi & shrimp for lunch, why not this one?
Conclusion: there are other buffets that offer a variety of edible meats. I am not going back there again.
