The Nut Brown Ale is really good, the prices are reasonable, the food is great, & the live music is well done. One of my favorite downtown bars.
Brutopia, the best establishment on Crescent street! Great beer (brewed in house), live music & overall good vibes! Shout out to Jeff & Wes for making Bru feel like home!
Our favorite place to hang out, have some drinks & listen to great live music
Awesome atmosphere, great service, & tremendous food with a solid beer selection. The pub has charming old Irish décor, & you can tell it has a loyal following lots of repeat customers that really add to the warm, local vibe. They also have fantastic live music on weekends.
There's a huge yet cozy upstairs space that's perfect if you're going with a group of 10 or more. While the beers are good, Montreal has so many incredible breweries that they're not quite at that level …some felt slightly watered down. That said, we ordered three starters & all of them were excellent, especially the chicken wings tossed in their special spicy sauce.
Definitely a must-visit spot if you're downtown.
Sunday mic night was awesome! Also a great variety of music playing throughout the day.
Live music was good, their microbrews are always fresh & delicious!
This is my friends' fav spot. It's super safe & the live music is awesome. Their cocktails are great & my friends love their beers. Their pitchers of sangria are also great to split between a bunch of people. Their food is alright & good for snacking. There is usually seating for big groups. The service is pretty friendly & quick but sometimes the waiters don't always remember who got what & it can be a bit of a headache when closing all the tabs. The place is great to catch up with friends but sometimes the music can be a bit too loud & it's better to be in their patio area since it is quieter. I also love that the bathrooms are usually very clean.
A great pub with live music, friendly vibe, good beer, downtown, charming old Victorian building
