We went with a group of friends to watch the World Cup game. All the other people I was with were drinking except me because I can't for medical reasons. A man that was working there came up to me & screamed at me so loudly & said that this was a business & I had to leave immediately because there are people outside waiting. I understand the point & wouldve been happy to just pay for drinks that I won't have just to be there but it was insane to be screamed at like that. I left the group I was with immediately because I felt very unsafe. Terrible experience. Also very shocking to see a male business owner treat women in that way. Don't bring your pregnant friends to this place!!
My friend & I are visiting Montreal for the first time, & we stopped by Bruno's Sports Bar to watch the first World Cup game today. The place was absolutely packed, but the service never missed a beat. There were plenty of TVs with great views of the game, & the servers were incredibly attentive-no one was left waiting, even with a full house.
What really made the experience special was meeting one of the local regulars, a 71-year-old woman who told us she's been coming here for over 20 years. She entertained us with stories, bought us shots of Sambuca, & made us feel right at home.
Great atmosphere, fantastic service, & an authentic Montreal experience. The next time we're in Montreal, we'll definitely be back at Bruno's! 🍻⚽🇨🇦
I was told about this sports bar by a friend & it sounded like a great local spot to watch one of the hockey games during the playoffs. I called a week before the game to see if a small table for 2 people was available - this is what happened:
1. I tried calling about 10-20 times at different times of the day, & most of the time nobody picked up the phone.
2. When somebody finally picked up & I asked about reservations, they told me to message the bar via their Instagram channel. I found this a bit strange but gave it a try. When I did not hear back after a while, I sent a follow-up message.
3. When I finally called again after not hearing back on Instagram, a different person picked up. I asked them if it was possible to make a reservation, & they told me in a semi-unfriendly way that everything was full. They did not even try asking me what date & time - why would you automatically assume that I wanted to reserve at a time when the bar is busy?
So disappointed by the customer service at this bar. I totally get it if there's no space, but I would have appreciated if the communication was better.
I always go to BSB , now during the playoffs there is no room - I called to reserve & they tell me they don't take reservations - I get there yesterday 2 hours before the game & the employee blocks the doorway as usual saying they are full & seats reserved - so I told him that I called in many times & they said they don't do reservations - he replies that they do during playoffs.... maybe keep the terasse available for paying customers instead of people buying fruits next door & eating them on the terasse?
Fun bar for game night! The vibes is on point! 3 shots for $10, pitcher of Sapporo is $29 & they have three types of fast food sandwiches with no sides. Italiano, Jumbo hotdog or Ham & cheese sandwich. The Italiano was tasty. Nothing else but popcorn when they make some. Run by Bruno himself & his nephew does the bouncing at the door on busy night. It does fill up fast, so make reservations! Super awesome lively atmosphere!

Few pints & was fantastic. Perfect spot to watch the blue jays game (or any sport), Marco & Ricardo are cool, super friendly & welcoming. Such a gem we found. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Montreal.
