The steward/server explained that the New Year's menu was a special fixed price menu for two, no changes, for $95 flat & that both of us would be getting the same dish. We ordered & I was surprised to find out at the end that they were charging us $95 per person!! I think better transparency & putting the prices on the menu could have prevented this confusion, but something tells me it wasn't unintentional.View more

Located in the "Homewood Suites by Hilton" so they have the same level of cleanliness & service which are just perfect. The food was delicious. For a lunch menu they should include a drink & dessert as usual.View more

I've dined here over 10 times under the previous ownership the past few years & even planned a large event here in the past. I was always impressed with the service & food quality. I'd recommend this place to friends & clients all the time. After my last experience at Blandino I will no longer be recommending this restaurant. I planned a corporate dinner here & we had to leave after our drinks & find another restaurant because service was very slow & almost half the menu was not available. We were not advised of this beforehand, instead as people took turns placing their order, we kept being told those items weren't available that night. (Multiple pastas & pizzas not available, no steak filet, no focaccia) It was an unacceptable experience & pretty embarrassing to have 10+ people there experience what we did. The waitress & manager did not show empathy or consideration for our feedback & just told us they were going through a menu change. I grabbed the bill for our drinks & we took an uber across the street to Table 51 where food was excellent & they accommodated a last minute group with amazing service. This is at the Hilton on Decarie. I was there last night with a group of girlfriends for dinner & we had a very pleasant experience. There was a mix-up with our reservation, but the manager resolved it quickly. The service was good & I liked the ambiance & elegant vibe. We had no issues with parking. I enjoyed the meatballs & foccacia.View more
Nice food & nice ambiance however a couple of minor things soured my experience. 1) the absolutely unnecessarily loud music. I get it, the staff were feeling festive but this was too much. My dining partner & myself were barely able to hear each other & had to keep shouting. 2) I requested a slice of tomato to be added to my Burger & they made a big fuss about how they cannot do that & then said... they don't have tomatoes (really? in an Italian restaurant?). 2 silly reasons to ruin what otherwise could have been a much better experience.View more
I went for an early lunch with a girlfriend of mine, & was quite disappointed in the quality of food, considering the price point. I ordered the bruschetta, & the bread was stale. As my main course, the salmon tartare, which tasted like it was frozen & defrosted, not fresh at all. My bill came out to $120 including tip for two glasses of wine, bruschetta, & tartare. I don't mind paying that if the food is worth it. In this case, definitely not. I personally will not be going back to eat there. Very disappointed.View more
