We went for my friend's birthday last night & it was excellent! The decor, the drinks, the food (minus the calamari, it was a little too salty), the atmosphere, the service was 10/10. Our server was communicative & attentive. The staff, server, server assistants, hostess, coat check, bouncer were great! You can tell they work hard & it shows in there service. We made some great memories there last night. I will definitely be back :)
I celebrated my 31st Birthday at Bowie & I must say the service was amazing. They made sure to accommodate all my needs, they were super generous & thoughtful, making sure my night was going well. The food & drinks were really good as well & the atmosphere was amazing. I recommend.

The pretentious staff seem more interested in talking to each other than serving customers. Took forever to get service & order a second drink then rushed to make us pay... There's definitely better options in the area.
Still my favourite place I've been in regards to restaurants / night-life, a year after I visited. I tell anyone that I can about Bowie, & am itching to go back. Ambiance, food, drink, experience... All 5 stars. For an elevated but fun night out, this is your spot.
Food is surprisingly good for a more of a bar vibe establishment.
My favourites were Japanese Taco, wagyu dumplings & Oysters.
Atmosphere is fun & on wknd nights, the restaurant turns into a very fun bar with dancing. 4 stars because some dishes were not great & drink prices are on the high side.
Drinks were delicious. Service was amazing, we became friends with our waitress. She made our experience so fun & memorable. The candy bowl we ordered was fresh & went perfectly with our drinks. Was so fun & gorgeous atmosphere
I was so excited to visit on Friday night. I did make a reservation & noted that a dress code was in effect. Only me, my visiting friend from Toronto, & other out of towners (also from Toronto) were appropriately dressed for such an establishment. But the staff allowed middle-aged tourists in cargo shorts, basic t-shirt & Birkenstocks to be customers? Pls. It was 35C Friday & I too would've love to wear shorts & flip flops too. But I'm a self-respecting adult.
You either enforce some sort of respectability or drop your pretences of dress codes.
The cocktails were indeed very good. The Vesper was the best I've had in a long time. I wanted the'Smalltown Boy' cocktail next, but was told that it's no longer offer though it's still on the menu, because it's too spirit forward & the female clientele wants fruitier drinks. SMH
Bowie came across as trying too hard to be a concept restaurant/bar without actually delivering on that concept. The interior & music were genuinely great, & that's where all three stars come from. Unfortunately, the cocktails were a letdown. Diana's drink tasted like canned peach purée spiked with alcohol, no complexity, just peachy booze. The other cocktail was equally flat, basically whisky with a hint of lemon. When paying for cocktails on the pricier side, I expect something interesting or well-crafted, but Bowie didn't meet its own hype. Service was fine, but our server never once asked how we liked our drinks or food. The no photo/video rule also felt oddly out of place. Overall, it seemed like Bowie put all its energy into the decor & music, without delivering on the experience it promises.

Very nice place! Weird rule about pictures (not allowed) feels like a hidden place with a mix of different crowds. Drinks are good, so is the music. Beautiful interior look. Little well kept secret. I recommend!
I had the best night at Bowie. Tucked away in the heart of Montreal, this place seriously gives off that hidden speakeasy vibe. Initiate lighting, moody ambiance, & a killer cocktail menus that blew me away. The Asian-fusion dishes were on point, every bite was flavourful & beautifully plated. The bao buns & tuna tataki are a must-try. If you are looking for a chill spot that nails both good & drinks, this is it. Will definitely be back!
Everybody is getting expensive so don't complain that their denying need rib tapa is$45. Good Feely. Drinks are great. Decor & crowd deserves city chic dress code
Went to Bowie with my friends after a lovely dinner at Dorsia. They offer a big variety of drinks including some of their signature cocktails. The music wasn't too loud & complemented a general classy vibe of the place. The prices are more than fair & their staff is always ready to assist you with any special requests you may have.
