I come here & often great service. I took friends from out of town - some have been here before & I arrived 30 minutes after they did... we reserved a table... 1 hour in we still have water I had to flag down the bustboy to meet our server... anyway in the whole 2-3 hours we were there we were served drinks once & food we got a half order & the rest I told the server 3 different times & he said he would bring it. I only got it 3 times after I asked the bill & left no tip because ive never received such horrible service. The server was hugging & talking to girls at other tables so obvs hes not too busy & wouldn't come to our table.
It's the first time ever I have left a 0% tip while my friends still wanted too because they always do.
When I talked to the host for feedback the server came back directly to me to say'thanks for snitching & you left 0% tip'. Sir, the 0% tip at the end was because in 3 hours we had seen you twice & we had to flag people giving water to get you... it's pretty hard to get 0% tip & for you to achieve it means a lot. The fact that not only was he rude the whole night (2-3 times he saw us) plus coming up to me is such a lack of professionalism i dont understand how's he's a server.
If you are a local only come for drinks & If you are visiting they are way better places to visit as a speakeasy. I had to bring the host & the manager involved which i never do but did because I've never seen this behavior anywhere & I travel a lot.
How do you serve us 3 drinks (3 people) in 2-3 hours? Do we have to beg you to give you money?
Manager was great but please have a talk with your staff about how sales work - put your ego aside & also if you have friends coming - instead of talking & hugging them the whole night - maybe do your job??? I was so embarrassed bringing people I know here with this behavior, thought the server would try to fight me at the entry.
Honestly there is so much better, go on TikTok & Instagram & look at speakeasy. PS 1 am a local.
We ordered two entries, first one came on time. When the second didn't I asked he said he would follow up. 1 hour passed (he never came) once again I had to find him walking around to ask him & he said'I guess they forgot' sir I told you at the table one hour before I think they did & to check it..
My friends were there from 9:30 ish & I arrived around 10 & we left around midnight.

I went out but im still shook at the audacity & im not even a mean person, takes a lot for me to lose my cool. Maybe the behaviour was because I was a woman? Idk?
I also don't want to be rude because it doesn't matter if you buy 1 drink or buy 1000$ of stuff but you guys lost a lot of $$$$$ especially that we were celebrating the sell of a big business in the USA. My friends don't need to have brand names like people do in MTL to spend & we spent it all on other better places we've been in the past.
I don't believe I'll be back or will invite people who are visiting / client meetings etc.
Really left a sour taste.
Again thank you to the manager & host for listening. To the server, I understand stressful busy nights happen - but in this case it's hard for me to sympathize or try to put myself in your shoes when I see you hugging & talking & giggling with girls at other tables for hours on end. You were sassy, rude & unprofessional in the way you talk since the first word like if it was a task to get our order of 2 lychee, 1 beer, 1 bok, 1 slider.
Bowie is great & of great potential, but it is not that high up to have behaviour like this, we are not in the top of the top, so it's quite ridiculous & a'show'. I usually leave a tip but I didn't want to encourage such behaviour as most people would usually give in. Things like this needs to be addressed & reading reviews I see this is a recurrent issue. Your women staff / servers I have never had an issue or the staff at the bar. We had people join us & we had to text them to meet us at the next place because the service was so bad. Feel free to check the cameras
I almost died in that place. In the dark entrance there is a completely hidden staircase going down. I took a step back thinking it's just a wall & I fell back & caught myself with one hand half way down backwards & smacked my head & smashed my toe. It could have been worse if I didn't have good reflexes. Guys seriously you can't have an open stairs going down with ZERO barrier or light - fix that!

Tout d'abord, le restaurant demande un code vestimentaire qui n'est pas respecté par les clients, plusieurs clients étaient en jeans & habillés très sloppy, casquette, coton ouaté, ça nous faisait sentir overdressed. Ensuite, le restaurant parle d'une politique interdisant les photos, mais plusieurs en prennent avec flash sans que personne ne sévices, encore une fois, si tu mets en place une politique, fais la respecter. Notre serveuse m'a abordé en anglais & semblait à peine parler français. La nourriture… je ne sais pas par où commencer, le service était tellement lent que certaines des personnes à notre table ont quitté avant de recevoir tous les services, le service du dessert, lequel était compris dans le prix du menu de groupe, n'a jamais été amené. Nous avions deux fêtes, ils ont amené un gâteau avec un feu de bengal, l'autre sans … Nous devions prendre un menu de groupe, j'ai souvent pris des menus de groupe dans des restaurants & celui-ci est absurde. Il n'y avait même pas une bouchée par personne les portions étaient carrément ridicules, nous avons fait le commentaire à la serveuse qu'il n'y avait pas une bouchée par personne, ça réponse a été, je peux vous apportez un couteau … je ne blague pas. On ne nous expliquait pas les plats qu'on nous amenait, j'ai payé une bouteille de vin 76$ & j'ai dû me servir moi-même à plusieurs reprises & le restaurant n'était pas plein. La nourriture était ordinaire, rien de rafiné. Nous sommes sortis avec une facture de plus de 250$ pour deux & nous avions encore faim. Quand le bar tourne en club, ils font entrer beaucoup trop de monde, j'étais assise sur une chaise à ma table, on m'a demandé de me lever car il enlevait les chaises pour faire de la place pour le monde… le restaurant dispose de deux toilette pour homme & de deux pour femmes, la file pour s'y rendre était interminable … le clou de la soirée, quand le restaurant ferme, ils poussent littéralement les clients dehors en hurlant & en les bousculant je n'ai jamais vu cela de ma vie. Bref, gardez votre argent & allez le dépenser ailleurs car l'expérience promise n'est pas délivrée par cet établissement.
Super belle expérience au Bar Bowie ! Le serveur était vraiment présent, souriant & de bonne humeur du début à la fin. J'ai aussi adoré la cohésion entre zak & le barman Vince - on voyait qu'ils travaillaient en équipe & qu'ils prenaient soin des clients. Vince est venu s'assurer que tout allait bien après la fin de notre service à table, un détail très apprécié. Service chaleureux, ambiance agréable - je recommande sans hésiter !
Food is surprisingly good for a more of a bar vibe establishment.
My favourites were Japanese Taco, wagyu dumplings & Oysters.
Atmosphere is fun & on wknd nights, the restaurant turns into a very fun bar with dancing. 4 stars because some dishes were not great & drink prices are on the high side.

Bowie came across as trying too hard to be a concept restaurant/bar without actually delivering on that concept. The interior & music were genuinely great, & that's where all three stars come from. Unfortunately, the cocktails were a letdown. Diana's drink tasted like canned peach purée spiked with alcohol, no complexity, just peachy booze. The other cocktail was equally flat, basically whisky with a hint of lemon. When paying for cocktails on the pricier side, I expect something interesting or well-crafted, but Bowie didn't meet its own hype. Service was fine, but our server never once asked how we liked our drinks or food. The no photo/video rule also felt oddly out of place. Overall, it seemed like Bowie put all its energy into the decor & music, without delivering on the experience it promises.
On était 3 filles pour un anniversaire. Je n'ai rien à dire sur la décoration, l'endroit est très bien agencé, malgré le fait que la salle manque d'espace. Au début, le service était correct. Cela dit, plus la soirée avançait & plus le service se déteriorait. Nous avons du attendre 15 minutes de plus pour l'une des entrées & à la fin 25 minutes pour le gâteau. De plus, au début de la soirée, la barmaid a accueilli ses amies au bar, ça criait, ça parlait très fort & ça s'embrassait sans retenue. Ce qui a démontré un manque de professionnalisme. Somme toute, pas le meilleur service que j'ai eu…
À première vue super beau concept, j'aime bien le fait qu'il y ait une certaine intimité avec l'interdiction de prendre des photos/vidéos mais c'est un point à considérer si on veut y fêter son anniversaire sachant qu'on ne peut pas prendre des photos souvenirs. Le service laisse fortement à désirer entre les serveurs/serveuses un peu perdus au niveau du partage du service de tables & les commandes qui prennent du temps à venir. Petit bémol pour la barmaid qui servaient des shots à ses amies un peu trop pompettes qui criaient dans le coin du bar.
I had an amazing night at Bowie. Everything from the decor to the food & ambiance were impeccable. Zak at the bar was so knowledgeable & prepared me the best cocktails I've had in town !!
