Since 1986 Restaurant Boustan, has been serving up the exotic flavors of Lebanon in downtown Montreal. Satisfy your hunger by indulging in our carefully prepared dishes.
Boustan is described as a Montreal staple delivering flavorful Lebanese dishes with generous portions and fast, friendly service, especially for shawarma, garlic potatoes and hearty bowls; reviewers praise the open late hours and the reliability of the food, with many saying it is worth the price for the taste, while others note that quality can vary and portions or freshness can be inconsistent, including some reports of leftovers or bland items and concerns about cleanliness or water access on certain visits; the vegan options like shiitake wraps and other menu items draw enthusiasm, and the staff are generally viewed as pleasant and helpful, making Boustan a dependable, comforting choice for a quick satisfying meal, even as experiences may differ across visits.
Good place for shawarma, delicious, ample quantity to fill you up to the ears, reasonable price. Better to take out. Inside seating is just ordinary. We visited this place many times. If we are in the area, we will go there again. Location is good, at St-Catherine Est
Maybe it was because I hadn't eaten in 13 hours or maybe it was because I was drinking, but the food here was fantastic. My only regret was not ordering a larger size.

Le personnel était antipathique & je n'ai quasiment rien eu dans mon pita ( un peu de viande, quasi pas de garniture ou de sauce). Le tout était vraiment fade & sec ... vu le prix c'est pas fou
Regular customer, the bowls are satiating a bit overpriced though. I would stay away from the fried potatoes as they are greasy compared to other boustan i've been to. One last thing, the old guy preparing orders needs to learn some manners talking to customers & maybe god forbid try to smile once in a while like the rest of the staff.
