It would be a 5 star if they got the order right every time. Great Lebanese food, it's nearly as good as before Boustan became a chain. Located perfectly in downtown Montreal this place is great for a quick filling delicious meal. A bit on the pricey side considering but worth it flavor wise.
Make sure to get the garlic sauce with your potatoes, it's great!

This Boustan is a legendary Montreal establishment. Fall in love, watch a fight, sober up, make a friend, any & all are possible in the very same night at this Boustan location. I always get the Shawarma pita wrap but the garlic potatoes are delicious as well if you love garlic.
There's randomly a machine for Bitcoin as well if you're into that.
Windows are open in the summer but they have A/C as well so it's a must on a hot summer day. Please never close.
Love the shawarma... take the saj bread & not the wrap... the wrap is crumbly. The potatoes with the garlic sauce'toum' ... is divine. It's open 24/7 or till very late at some locations.
I like the seating of this restaurant. Although there's air con but the restaurant is completely open to the side walk. There are no windows. It's like sitting in the outside enjoying the fresh air & watch the cars & people going by. It's a popular place. Crowded. The souvlaki combo is $20 tax included. Portion is generous. Fried potatoes are crispy. Rice & meats are tasty. They put all the sauce you requested in the bowl. But we did go back to ask for some garlic sauce to dip my pita bread. The staff are accommodating. I like this better than souvlaki bar. I'll return.
Definitely a hit if you want to have some good Shwarma. Chicken is too juicy & well marinated! The garlic potatoes are really good. Must visit in Montreal.

The veggies were fresh, crunchy, perfectly spiced, & accompanied by fluffy rice, fresh salad, & creamy garlic sauce that added a perfect tang. The portion sizes are generous, ensuring that you leave with a satisfied appetite. The Falafel Saj wrap was another highlight. Crispy on the outside & moist on the inside, the falafel was complemented by fresh vegetables & a drizzle of tahini sauce, all wrapped in a soft, warm saj. It's a must-try for anyone seeking a vegetarian option. One of Boustan's standout features is its dedication to freshness. Each bite tasted as though the ingredients had just been picked & prepared with care. The service was also top-notch; the staff were friendly, attentive, & more than willing to make recommendations based on your preferences. The potato with garlic sauce was excellent. It tasted very delicious & the potatoes had a sweet taste. We ordered a medium size & it was enough for two people.
The garlic sauce is really really good with everything. I got the standard sized mixed (beef & chicken) bowl & it’s so delicious - the portion is big enough for 2 people as a post-concert meal at midnight. Probably the best shawarma I’ve ever had, the tabouleh & potatoes were exceptional & the meat was properly seasoned. Wish I was in Montreal longer so I could eat more 😅
