Fast casual restaurant, true Lebanese taste with modern local twist. Your first visit will be the first of many. Let your senses guide you to the delectable flavors of the Mediterranean. Only at Boustan will you feel as though you are eating homemade Lebanese food- accessible, convenient and nutritious.
Reviews generally describe Boustan as consistently tasty and fast, with friendly, accommodating staff and a clean space. Diners value quick service for a casual meal and praise generous portions and fresh dishes, including vegan options, with the signature step of toasting pitas on charcoal for a grilled flavor. The garlic sauce and potatoes are often highlighted as highlights, while some notes mention room for more character in the sauce. Many diners appreciate the welcoming service and the option to dine in or take out, especially late at night. However a few visitors report price increases and smaller portions over time, and there are occasional quality issues such as burnt potatoes, lukewarm chicken, and undercooked rice. Overall Boustan is seen as a reliable, satisfying choice and a frequent takeout favorite, with emphasis on friendly staff and good value.
Ordered through Uber - food was delicious, love the generous portions & variety. We got 2 mix plates with chicken & beef, this was served over rice & potatoes, there was a salad, hummus & garlic sauce. Everything can be customized to your liking. We haven't eaten at Boustan in a couple years - since they rebranded, new logo & menu, new bowls, we noticed the prices have really gone up but the food quality, portion size & flavors are excellent. The bowls we got were huge, honestly I am a big eater & can confirm there was enough for at least two portions. Obviously ordering throught the app is more expensive but I would estimate these were about $20 a person otherwise. Everything was so tasty & I had leftovers for the next day, really appreciated this.
hit or miss on whether you'll get served properly, sometimes it's fine .... sometimes your get bad service, burnt food, missing items & on top of recently becoming overpriced their stupid machine is set to 15% lowest tip
I have been eating here for a year. It is really delicious & very safe & I went to the restaurant myself. I did the review. Very clean Thank you very much for providing us with this service.😊
We arrived in Montreal around 6:30 pm, after several hours of flying & driving. It was raining & we didn't want to go out in search of dinner. After a quick check for vegan restaurants in the area, Boustan caught our attention. We ordered the falafel bowls, a vegan Brownie, & some Montellier water. It was all very good. There were five decent sized falafel in the bowl. Between that, the hummus, & the salad, we had a nice mix of flavor. If we come across another Boustan location in our travels, we will definitely eat there. Unfortunately, we didn't take photos of the food before eating it. Yet, we have added a photo of a falafel (for size) & the can of water.
