Review Summary

Boustan is widely recognized for its fresh, flavorful Lebanese cuisine, with many patrons highlighting the shawarma, potatoes, and signature garlic sauce as standout menu items. While the majority of guests consistently praise the fast, friendly, and professional service provided by the staff, a small number of reviews mention occasional inconsistencies in food quality or issues with the atmosphere, such as high noise levels. Overall, the restaurant maintains a strong reputation for hospitality and quality, making it a preferred choice for both quick bites and satisfying late night meals.

Ordered the'bol regulier taouk roti'. It tasted fine, but was mostly potatoes & salad. There was only a few bits of chicken put on top, enough for just two bites.

I recently visited Boustan St Jean d.d.o & had a great experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, & served quickly. Their shawarma is always a standout-well-seasoned, juicy, & perfectly wrapped. The garlic sauce & potatoes are a must-try & really complete the meal.

It's my first & last time going this place

I ordered 2 Shish Taouk wrap & a medium garlic potatoes. The 2 wrap where very skinny & burned to a crip, they weight of each Wrap was 200gr. I did ask for less cabage, as I wanted a balance ratio of meat & not a veggie wrap. There was verry little chicken in there, so even then the ratio was wrong. The Potatoes were cold & seemed made long in advance in that buffet dish.

I guess if your the only customer they don't care if they disapoint you. As I did say they look too small & there charred, what is this. Ho well!! 30$ & that what you get

Boustan is my go-to for delicious, fast, & affordable Lebanese food. The chicken shawarma with garlic potatoes is unbeatable, & the garlic sauce is addictive. Great portions, friendly staff, & always consistent. Perfect for a quick bite or late-night craving!

Five star food & service, two thumbs up. Always fresh, fast, & really tasty, especially beef & garlic potatoes. What spoils the overall impression a bit is that the TV broadcasting in Arabic is WAY TOO LOUD. I would not recommend eating inside unless you understand Arabic & want to listen to extremely loud Arabic music or watch an extremely loud Arabic movie. I always order to take out because of this reason.

Again, great food, personnel is AMAZING! Since I come here often, they even remember my food intolerances.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing experience! The food was incredibly fresh & delicious, & the flavors were on point. To make it even better, they surprised us with free potatoes for our birthday celebration, which was such a thoughtful touch. The staff was friendly & made sure we had a great time. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a top-notch meal & great service!

In the past, I was always super pleased with Boustan. It was my go-to place on Crescent street after clubbing many many years ago. Food was always delicious. I am so sad. I just ate a pickup order with my family from the St-Jean DDO location. 62$ for a super dry chicken shawarma plate with a teaspoon of hummus & uncooked, hard rice. My spouse & I both had chicken pitas, also super dry with no sauce or maybe just a tiny bit of sauce, with potatoes, good, but dry as there was barely any garlic sauce on them. Very, very disappointed. The person at the counter was super nice & friendly which is bringing up the rating. Other than that, I am totally turned off. This is not the Boustan I am used to.

1. Boustan has decided it was a good idea to ruin the ONE vegetarian bowl that was good for the price, the'Boustan Bowl'. No longer available. 2. Replaced by the'Vegetarian Bowl' with no protein, just salad. The Boustan Bowl had egg pancakes, no longer on the menu. So the vegetarian Bowl is just salad ( no protein). 3. The Vegan Bowl is way over priced i.e. 18.99 for rice, dry potatoes, coleslaw & Shitake vegan protein with a pita. Why is this more expensive than the other bowls? No idea. They started off on the right foot with their healthy & affordable options for vegetarians but are no longer.
