I really enjoyed the restaurant - great food & service. However, I did miss having a house wine option. Given that Ontario already has a solid local wine production, I believe it would be entirely feasible to offer a reasonably priced house wine, served by the glass or in carafes, much like many good restaurants do in Europe. My suggestion would be to consider buying wine in boxes (bag-in-box), which can maintain quality while allowing for a more affordable & welcoming experience for customers. It would definitely add value to the overall service. Thank you!View more

Went here with a large group reservation a few weeks ago & they took really great care of us. They proposed starters for sharing & selected some of the best pizzas for us to enjoy. It was a delicious evening, the food & wine kept flowing, a really great time. Most importantly, everything they served tasted fantastic!
Pro tip: try the truffle & parmesan pizza. It's very rich, so one slice might be enough flavor-wise, but it's a worthy treat for your tastebuds!View more

Hier on est allé souper , on a pris des pâtes avec homard lorsque je reçois mes pâtes je demande à la serveuse du fromage pour mes pâtes. Elle me répond habituellement on dit non car les pâtes avec homard ne se mange pas avec du fromage 😳🤔???

De plus, on avait demandé 2 cocktails ça l'a pris une éternité les avoir. Pourtant, il n y avait pas grand monde pour dire que c était occupé.
À 400$ la facture peut on manger comme on veux sans avoir l avis de la serveuse de comment ou avec quoi on doit manger nos pâtes !

Great service at Bottega last night from each individual person who helped serve our party. The pizza was terrific, though I guess I'd have hoped for a touch more variety on the menu. Perhaps more salad or pasta options. Then again it IS a pizzeria, so that's mostly my bad. The pizza is worthwhile for sure, & the fried calamari is super fresh!View more

This is not the fist time go to this restaurant. As usual, the food was awesome. we had two of the 4 starters of the day. both were perfect. The tuna & the mista salad were really good. I then had the pasta of the day & my wife a pizza. again, everything was perfect. refined & tasty. I know this place can be loud so I was not surprised. I just want people to know that on a weekend evening, there is great atmosphere so it can be bit loud. I really don't mind it because it such a great place. Thank you to the chef & my waitress who had impeccable service. i had a great evening.View more

We are in Montreal for Memorial Day weekend & after a long day of exploring had decided to visit Little Italy. Our first place was booked up so, we decided to take our chances & try Bottega. When we first arrived our hostess was not sure if they could seat us. However, she told me to hang on for 5 minutes & after that she was able to find us a table.
The food was amazing & fresh, we started with calamari, & a house made salad. Amazing! The owner was such a friendly person & spent some of his time talking to us. He & his staff are quite welcoming & the food is spot on. If in Montreal I highly recommend stopping here.View more

We came here for a girls' night out & were really looking forward to, but while the food was delicious, the service was shockingly rude & left us all feeling uncomfortable.
Early on, while I was speaking with one of the staff member who brought us bread, our server interrupted & started talking over me. They both walked away mid-conversation, ignoring me entirely. When I asked the server about it later, he simply said the bread wasn't meant for our table, no apology, no basic courtesy.
We were then left waiting until I had to call him over to place our order. The food arrived & tasted great, but the atmosphere quickly turned cold. We started noticing the staff, & even the manager, giving us pointed looks, as if we were overstaying our welcome. The restaurant had been full when we were eating, but by then, several tables were open, so we didn't feel like we were taking up space.
When the server came over with the card machine, he didn't just hand it to me, he dropped it on my hand. It was careless, & it hurt. At this point, the restaurant was mostly empty, so we stayed at our table a little longer to chat. That's when our server came over again to fill our water… & splashed it all over the table. It felt intentional, like we were being pushed out.
The whole experience felt cold, dismissive, & just plain rude. I wish I could recommend this place for the food, but the service was unacceptable.View more
