Unreal food, atmosphere, staff! We had all three pastas because we couldn't choose. Everything was delicious!! The ragu sauce was so good I asked if I could have a bowl of it to dip focaccia in, which they did & they didn't even charge me. 10/10 experience!

Vraiment une super découverte .... Nous étions un groupe de 20 nous avons occupé 96% des places Nous avons tous été séduits par le professionnalisme autant au service que par les cuisiniers. Menu dégustation A1 Carte des vins & recommandations du propriétaire A1 Le seul point négatif ... je n'ai pas été capable de me rendre au dessert ...( trop plein) Merci Super resto de quartier ...dommage que je sois si loin
I had lunch at Bona Fide in Montreal yesterday, & it was an unforgettable experience! The food was impeccable, the atmosphere warm & inviting, & the staff delivered top-notch service. I had the Arancino au canard & champignon, arrabbiata as an appetizer & the spaghetti & meatballs as the main, which were absolutely delicious, & the bread? Wow. Mouth-watering & so fresh, I even suggested they should sell it because I'm sure many people would buy it! The prices are very reasonable for the quality, & I'm already excited to come back & try their dinner menu. Highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for incredible food & a welcoming dining experience.
Excellent service & atmosphere, the food was well prepapred & exceeded expectations. A good selection of wine & the owner showed that he cared about our experience. Will definetly be back!
** À ESSAYER ABSOLUMENT *** On a essayé le Bona Fide, un nouveau resto italien dans Villeray. Déjà, nous sommes allés un lunids soirs & les restos ouverts les lundis soirs, c'est rare à Montréal. En plus, ils sont ouvertes pour le lunch! Quand on est arrivés, on a pris chacun un cocktail, un martini & un negroni. C'était impeccable. Après ça, on a sauté dans le vin. Renaud nous a super bien conseillés. Il y avait des trucs un peu funky sur la carte, mais on était vraiment bien guidés. En plus, l'accueil était chaleureux. On a reçu un service attentionné du début à la fin. Pour ce qui est de l'ambiance du resto, c'est chaleureux & conviviale avec une touche italienne authentique. Ca donnait quand meme un look pizzeria new-yorkaise mais avec 100 fois plus de classe! Pour commencer, on a pris une focaccia avec des olives frites en buvant nos cocktails. La focaccia était parfaite, bien salée. Les olives étaient croustillantes panées, chaudes. Ça commençait déjà bien. Ensuite, on a pris le crudo. C'était inhabituel & tellement bon. Là-bas, tout vaut la peine parce que ça sort du commun. C'est pas ton crudo classique, redondant. Non, celui-là avait une petite twist sucrée avec les citrons confits. C'était sûrement un des meilleurs crudos depuis un bout. On a aussi pris la courge delicata avec un petit pesto aux amandes. Encore une fois, délicieux, super original comme plat. Pour conclure les entrées, on a choisi les arancinis, bien croustillants à l'extérieur, moelleux à l'intérieur. C'était aussi le plat qui s'agençait le mieux avec notre vin. Pour le plat principal, on a partagé un plat de pâtes. C'était délicieux : de la saucisse italienne un peu piquante, une sauce légère qui se mariait bien avec l'amertume des rapinis. C'était vraiment bon. Pour finir, on a pris une tarte aux agrumes. Je suis pas très dessert à la base mais ca! Pas trop sucrée, qui contraste bien avec l'amertume de l'huile d'olive & le gras des noix de pins. C'était parfaitement bien balancé comme dessert. À essayer absolument! Encore une fois, tout était super original. Renaud & Camille nous ont accueillis comme si on faisait partie de la famille. Merci encore pour l'accueil, nous reviendrons
Service impeccable avec une ambiance chaleureuse. Je recommande fortement ! Mon plat préféré : le magret de canard, quoi que tout était délicieux sur le menu.
