Review Summary

Bon Délire is widely recognized as a vibrant spot with an inviting atmosphere, praised for its friendly staff, affordable drinks, and impressive selection of cocktails and snacks. Many visitors highlight the eclectic music, immersive decor, and fun vibe as major reasons to return, frequently citing the quality of the service and the overall welcoming environment. While the energy efficiency regarding the use of air conditioning with open windows has been a point of concern for some, and the crowded conditions or high music volume may not suit everyone, the majority of experiences reflect a positive consensus, positioning it as a standout destination in Montreal.

Bon Délire - This is the place to be. Think fun'90s vibes, groovy music, a pool table, free popcorn, & a young, stylish, laid-back crowd. The servers are friendly, & the menu strikes a nice balance between creative cocktails & tasty bites. I loved the atmosphere, though it's definitely a popular spot, so expect it to get lively-& pretty noisy-inside.

This is a good bar overall. But I'm mostly posting this review to get the owners attention.

I live nearby & walk by nearly every day.

I find it disheartening that they have their entire floor to ceiling front window open while the AC is blasting inside. Every time I walk by it, I just feel a massive surge of cold air rushing through that huge open window.

It's so far from efficient, it's almost illogical considering that can't not be showing up on the power bill. But most of all, I think it's very irresponsible to be guzzling that kind of energy to cool the entire bar while also having the entire front wall/window open. I understand the appeal of the four open window stools for customers, but come on. We all share the responsibility of being energy conscious….& now more than ever with data centers destroying our planet fast-forward mode.

I understand that AC is a non-negotiable in temperatures like this, but that massive window should be shut when it's on, especially mid day peak temperatures.
