via LibroWas happy to visit Bloomfield for the first time for brunch for a friend's birthday! The atmosphere is really nice & the wait staff is very professional. The food & drinks were delicious, & I really loved the unique choices. It was very pricey - I was expecting that, around $55 after tax & tip per person. What I wasn't happy with is how rushed it felt. I knew they had two services, one at 10am & one at 12pm. We arrived for the 10am service. We had our order taken around 10:25am (I was 7 minutes late, so this was reasonable). Got our drinks at 10:40am, & our food around 10:50am. Around 11:40am, they were asking us to pay & prepare to leave for the next service. At 11:50, we were asked to leave our table. An hour was enough to finish our food, but we were still working on our drinks when we were asked to leave. Although I understand their rush to prepare for the second service, for a $50 brunch, I would hope to be able to sit for a bit longer, even just 30 minutes more, before being rushed out the door. There are other amazing brunch spots in Montreal without the rush, so for that reason, it is unlikely I will return for the first brunch service again.
