I went with a group of people to eat here when touring around. They treated us with a lot of respect, good hospitality & very good to us. But the chef i wish did a better job. One of the people i was with didn't really like the lasagna she had order. Another of the girl i was with order shrimp scampi & complain about barely having shrimp on it. They didn't have parmesan cheese for their stuff either. I on the other hand had the black spaghetti. I liked mines. Only thing I didn't liked was the crème brûlée. It wasn't all that. I would not recommend that at all. They did give us a free appetizer which is good & free extra dessert of different sweets. (I try adding video of everyone food, didn't let me). The scallop was delicious by the way !View more
I have no words to express the feeling of having dinner at that exceptional place! Simply perfect on every level: food, service, attitude, approach, place, everything! The most delicious food I've ever tasted, together with my beloved ones! If you plan to go to Venice & you don't plan to visit the restaurant, better don't go at all! 3 Michelin stars are far not enough for the quality of these amazing people!View more
Dining at Bistrot de Venise was an unforgettable experience. The elegant street setup created a romantic atmosphere, & the service was impeccable. The food was the highlight. The prawns in soar were juicy & flavorful, & the ravioli with herbs was delightful. The lasagna was a nostalgic treat, creamy & beefy like my mother's. The duck was exceptional. The tiramisu was the perfect finish. Despite its Michelin star, the prices were reasonable, & the portions were satisfying. We ordered three appetizers, one first course, two mains, & two desserts. Every dish was a winner. Highly recommended for a top-notch dining experience without breaking the bank.View more
good food & romantic atmosphere, just a bit overpriced imo.View more
Amazing experience with a nice place & caring waiters. Multiple times we got extra food to taste without having to ask each more delectable than the next. Each fish had layers & explosions of flavor. Overall amazing experience.View more
Big let down. The food was excellent quality however the flavours just did not blend well in most dishes. It was a fine dining experience in terms of service. Yet the atmosphere was almost as bland as the food.View more
Spectacular! Best meal in Italy & definitely Michelin worthy.View more
For our wedding anniversary, we chose Bistrot de Venise, nestled in a charming alleyway off the beaten track. The drink & wine selections were delightful, setting high expectations for the evening.Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to its fine dining promise. Despite the elegant presentation, the food took over 45 minutes to arrive & was cold when it finally did. The service was merely adequate, lacking the attentiveness one expects from a high-end establishment. The menu, predominantly seafood-based, offered only two vegetarian options, which felt limiting. At £300 for the meal, the price felt exorbitant given the overall experience. In summary, while Bistrot de Venise has a lovely setting & an impressive drink selection, the food & service fell short, making it difficult to recommend for special occasions.View more

A truly authentic dining experience blending history & new age cooking into unique dishes. Their Tuna tartare special is a must get! Their award winning Risotto is worth the try, it may sound like a lot at first but it all comes together to make a great dish. Service here was also great with friendly & informative waiters. The outside ambiance is very chill & we had a good amount of space.View more
Delicious evening meal. Staff were lovely & very accommodating. The only side note is one of our dishes that had anchoves was very salty however, they did offer to provide something different & took our feedback.View more

Nous recommandons !View more
A divine culinary experience. Bistrot de Venise has a record of multiple years of being Michelin recommended. The atmosphere is traditional - low lighting, warm, soft seating & classical Venetian elements adorning the walls. The service is lovely - the wait staff were attentive, well mannered, & elevated the experience with their tasteful recommendations. The food was beautiful in its presentation & a culinary delight. Each item on the menu has a historical note of mention. The attention to detail was striking, with the visual appeal matched only by its sublime flavour. I would whole heartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an elevated dining experience. Bravo!View more
Exceptional place with flawless service & amazing food. Deserves its reputation of being the best restaurant in Venice.View more
Another overrated place- what's wth the glowing reviews? We started with a good scallop dish but rather average Prawns in Saor, a traditional dish that was too subtle in flavour annd served with a pile of barely-cooked onion. Our mains were both a bit disappointing. Lamb chops were cooked well but served with raw squash that did nothing for the dish. Liver was served on a bland bed of crusted-over polenta with yet more lightly fried onion- certainly not caramelized as the menu describes. We wanted dessert but the place got so busy we thought it would take ages so just asked for the cheque. Even though the menu states there is a 10% service/bread charge it was clear the waiter expected more so we added another 10%. Wouldn't return. Wouldn't recommend. It's not bad just certainly not memorable.View more
This restaurant should already have a Michelin star! Amazing service & amazing quality of dishes. A full story behind each dish & each ingredient. The staff was very nice & careful to all the details. Best quality-price restaurant in Venice!View more
