Malgré son étoile Michelin, bistrot de venise fut pour moi une expérience sans plus dans mon voyage en Italie. L'ambiance & le décor du restaurant sont magnifique, nous avions une table près d'une vitre qui donné sur le canal ou les pirogue passait, c'était en un sens beau à voir au début mais deviens vite lassant car les clients en bateau nous observe pendant le souper. Le menu offre une variété de plats vénitiens, mais la nourriture est ordinaire au goût à son arrivée, les assiettes ont cependant une belle présentation. Le point fort de la soirée est le service qui lui est impeccable au moindre de nos désir, ils ont même offert une fleur aux femme de ma table. Préparés vos porte-feuilles. Même ci ce dernier est classé Michelin, j'ai manger dans de meilleur restaurant dans la région qui eux ne sont même pas classés. La cerise sur le sunday, j'ai attrapé une INDIGESTION alimentaire après le souper pour mon retour en avion le lendemain.View more

After 30 days of traveling in Europe, including 7 Michelin evenings, we had one of our last meals at Bistrot de Venice. It placed in the top 5. The service was attentive. There was a nice variety on the menu to choose from. Our selections were creatively done & delicious. We will certainly return on our next trip to Venezia.View more

The whole experience was a dream with amazing classical symphonies playing in the background, it was like being in another era. The setting, the decor, the burning candle at the table in it's beautiful & perfect candelabra... Easily makes it my favorite dinning experience in the world, a moment in time where I wished to stay in. The wine was a dream, the food was a dream, there is so much attention to detail in everything in this restaurant, from the service to the decor to the details in every dish! Delightful! While decidedly'squished', this restaurant is cozy & romantic, giving very Italian Family vibes. The plush red decor & candles create a nested atmosphere, & the service & cuisine were beyond impeccable. I mean, perfection. The owner was most gracious upon welcoming us, when my husband asked to change tables, then change back again lol! Absolutely wonderful in every way. We'll return, & recommend to those who adore fine cuisine. However if you like space & privacy, probably not for you. But if you're ensconced in your own little world with your love, it's a heavenly little womb away from the world.View more
