The ice creams are the best: lavender, rosemary, passion fruit... They also serve the best cup of coffee. We were so impressed that we asked what kind of beans that they used & let us buy a 1kg bag. The staff is awesome, genuinely nice & helpful.View more
Loved the atmosphere, service, & we agreed our favorite restaurant while we were in Venice. Will definitely be back! They also accommodated our begging for a table with no reservation, which we are forever 🙏.View more
The best of the best. The food is exquisite, the atmosphere is divine & the staff just as you expect in a place like that. Polite, helpful, gentle & discrete. What do you want more in life than eat the best scallops in the world with Vivaldi playing in the back, comfortable sited in a red bench?...View more
The service was amazing. Our server was very nice & the sommelier was very helpful in picking a wine. The food was very fine dining & very reasonable for the price. We had the squid ink pasta, beef tongue, anchovies, & other food.View more
My favorite meal in my three weeks in Italy. The miso cod is one of the best things I've ever eaten. Ravioli was also incredible. Lasagna was delicious but the cheese perhaps a bit too rich. The olive oil that comes with the free bread is so good that I asked the waiter about it (turns out you can buy it from their shop for 28 euros). & the free sea bass appetizer was delicious.
I was less impressed with: 40 euro bottle of Barbera wine; scallops; beef fillet...these were decent. & the desserts didn't really blow me away. Favorite was the lavender panna cotta.
Nice bonus: fast WiFi. & sounds weird to say, but the forks you get with the entree are some of the nicest-feeling forks I've ever held, lol.View more
Close to St Mark’s Square, this is probably the best restaurant in Venice for foodies. We had raw giant red prawn from Sicily that would be excellent for sashimi or sushi, tender beef tongue with historical garnishes; smoked eel, pasta with a rich seafood sauce, & duck breast. All dishes were delicately prepared with well balanced flavors. The restaurant offers both an a la carte as well as tasting menus. There are both historical & modern sections of the menu. There is both inside & outside seating in a quiet alley. Service was top notch. Will definitely come back when we visit Venice again.View more
There is nothing false about my review. No award, recognition or Michelin star would allow discriminatory & mocking treatment for a Child (my son) or a family. The truth is that when you arrived you doubted that I had a reservation & you asked me to show you the same on my phone, then you laughed & mockingly in front of the family you said, “How did I think your restaurant like that would have a table for 3 people?” At no time did you ask me to return in 30 minutes (the restaurant had only 2 tables occupied)

Literally the best food I’ve ever had in my life. My husband & I tried the tasting menu & it was truly a food journey. Each aspect of each course was very intentionally chosen & every ingredient shined. The balance of flavors was absolutely perfect. Courses were complex & modern yet showcased true Venetian cuisine. Service was lovely. Truly a one of a kind experience.View more

Bistrot de Venise provided an experience that far surpassed my expectations for a Michelin-starred meal in Venice. From the moment I arrived, I was entranced by the enchanting ambiance, accentuated by charming street-side tables that perfectly captured the spirit of Venetian elegance.
The food was nothing short of extraordinary. I began my culinary journey with the Prawns in "Saor," an appetizer steeped in historic Venetian cuisine. The prawns were impeccably cooked & beautifully complemented by spiced onions, sultanas, & pine nut milk. The amalgamation of flavors & textures was a delightful sensory experience that left me eagerly awaiting the next course.
For my main dish, I had the "Raw-Cooked" Risotto, a specialty of Bistrot de Venise & a first-place winner at the 8th National Enogastronomic Competition "Pistolto del Sommelier." The risotto was transcendent—infused with fennel, adorned with "cooked-raw" shellfish, & subtly accented by dill essence, licorice, & star anise powder. Each bite was a celebration of culinary artistry, complex yet harmonious in its flavor profile.
What elevated the experience from excellent to exceptional was the attentive & knowledgeable service provided by our waiter. He guided us through the menu with expertise, ensuring that our dining experience was as comfortable as it was memorable.
In summary, Bistrot de Venise offers an unforgettable dining experience that marries culinary innovation with attentive service, all set against the backdrop of Venice's timeless allure. It is, without a doubt, a must-visit for anyone seeking the pinnacle of Venetian cuisine.View more
Divine dining experience in Vienna
5/5 Intimate outdoor dining
5/5 professional & friendly service
5/5 Somelllier was knowledgeable & recommend a wine we thoroughly enjoyed.
5/5 Gorgeous presentation. Delicious food. We enjoyed the scallops the most. Ravioli was a close second. For dessert we devoured the most tasty tiramisu I have ever experienced.
Make reservations. This restaurant is full for a reason.View more
