sushi(42) japanese(18) fresh(13) lasalle(10) fish(9) quality(9) price(8) gem(7) authentic(7) ramen(6) roll(5) variety(5)Hidden gem. Run & owned by local Japanese family. A neighborhood hood restaurant. While not an extensive sushi list what they do serve is first & foremost fresh , affordable , good quality sushi. The "must tries" here are when you try the daily specials & their authentic Japanese tapas style menu listings : spinach , burdock root , agadashi eggplant , chicken balls , torched salmon to name a few . The non sushi menu items are scrumptious making this place enjoyable for all. Easy parking. Casual & affordable . Family , date night or get together for whatever the occasion.
Really authentic Japanese food. The kind of food you want like going to Tokyo. The ten don is amazing & try hamachikama. It's the best in this place. Don't forget Tsukune with Asahi. You will love it. Very generous portion, too.
Vraiment trop bon!
20$ for big huge meal , amazing flavor extremely nice people cool place to take your loved one you enjoy each bite & worth each penny who didn’t try it please do .
Half of the restaurant is for take out bags. One of the most delicious & authentic Japanese restaurant in Montreal. Japanese Chef behind the counter. Fresh fish & Japanese tapas. Very affordable prices & the portion are generous.
For nigiri, there is no comparison in Montreal. Eat at the sushi bar.
Best Sushi in Montreal, very genuine & nice people running this little gem.
Great food, great service, very affordable. Only took 1 star off because the restaurant part needs alot of improvement. I suspect they kind of just transition to take out/delivery so the restaurant is not really a focus for them.
I used to go to Isakaya when it was on Parc Ave & didn't realize it had moved to this new (closer to me!) location. I think it's primarily for take-out now, but there are a couple spots to sit inside if you're only a small amount of people. The food was amazing, & the service helpful & kind. I wasn't sure what to expect because it seemed so different, but this will now be our go-to sushi place!
This is now my go to sushi restaurant. actually, I can say that this is my go to restaurant period. The fish is fresh, the portions are generous, the rolls are flavorful & the prices are extremely reasonable.
