Honestly, I was disappointed. The server (oldest one), was sick, & it's extremely unprofessional to be served food by someone who is obviously sick. Had the filet mignon since I was told it was the best here, & it was extremely hard to cut & chew, I think the piece wasn't good. For the price, very disappointing.

Bis is my favorite restaurant in Montréal. My wife & I so enjoyed our years with Bis & with Aldo. I am happy that he is enjoying his retirement in Florida.
La cuisine italienne est de loin ma préférée. J'ai mangé dans plusieurs restaurants italiens & Bis est la meilleur à date. Service attentionné & à l'écoute. Plats simples, goûteux, frais & généreux. Excellent Amarone en importation privée (Pasqua). Excellente suggestion de grappa du serveur. Merci pour cette belle & délicieuse expérience.
I ordered the ceasar salad & lemon veal. It was good but not amazing. The portion were too small, i ended up coming back home & being hungry. The staff is really nice & knows their menu. However it was a little long because of the hockey game rush.

Wonderful charming restaurant. Food, drinks & service were excellent & exceptional. Freshest calamari I've tasted & the pasta was to perfection. Atmosphere & service is first class & fine dining at the best. Romantic & calm atmosphere with the friendliest of service.
Disappointing experience. Average food quality combined with chaotic service adds up to a wasted opportunity for a visiting family of four to enjoy reknown Montreal dining scene. Avoid
This is our favorite place to eat in Montreal & that is saying alot. Very attentive to gluten free food for celiacs customers & fantastic selection of beautifully presented Italian food. GF pasta is available for an array of excellent sauces. Lots of classic Montreal history to this restaurant which creates a wonderful atmosphere.
A secret spot in the city. Quaint, low-key atmosphere. High-end service. Excellent food. You know a place is good when you ask for something, & they tell you that the last portion was just ordered. It's always disappointing but comforting at the same time. On my first visit, what looked to be the owner came to see us, & we were discussing food when I mentioned that I am not crazy about balsamic & especially too much of it on my salad. He told me not to worry because he would make me a light dressing with a type of balsamic that I would love. He did. They know how to take care of you here. You'll see.
