My family ( party of 6 ) just returned from a 5 day vacation in Montreal & we enjoyed a fantastic meal at Bis. Aldo, the owner, is THE best at making you feel like family. His recommendations were perfect. Melt in your mouth Veal Chop, rib eye steak, pasta bolognese..all were sensational!! The adults enjoyed multiple glasses of wine. The grandkids enjoyed the dessert. We were still talking about last night's dinner this morning. Don't miss this place on your next visit to Montreal! We can't wait to return!!
Expérience culinaire exceptionnelle. Tout était vraiment excellent. Il semble que je devrai vous visiter ce resto à nouveau avec ma douce & d'autres employés (le mot se passe).
Overall it was great time & the food was fantastic! The service was great & the staff were very friendly had great suggestions ! Thank you such a lovely night! We will definitely be coming back. ❤️

La dame qui faisait le service à l'extérieur avait de la difficulté à s'exprimer en français. La description des plats était très sommaire & l'approche manquait de chaleur.
The service was excellent! Generally, the food was nice. My shrimp & pasta were superb. My wife's Osso Buco was tough. This was the second time she ordered this dish at Bis & it was the second time it not tender & soft the way it is supposed to be. She will not be ordering this dish here again.
Also, when serving certain cocktails, it is important to insert one large ice cube rather than a bunch of crushed ice. We ordered two cocktails to start that were difficult to drink for this reason.
Otherwise, we do enjoy this restaurant & will come back.
Tout était parfait à l'exception du plat de pâtes al Nero si Seppia qui était à la crème & non à l'encre de Seppia comme en Italie . La recette à la crème a rendu le plat moins léger qu'il devait l'être .
